2022 League of Legends LCS Spring Split Week 8 Betting

No teams have been eliminated from postseason contention heading into the last week of the LCS Spring Split. However, both Immortals and Team SoloMid need to win all their matches and receive a lot of help.

That can lead to some major changes in the League of Legends betting odds for the games on Saturday and Sunday depending on what happens Friday.

2022 League of Legends LCS Spring Split Week 8 Betting Odds

Team Liquid -300

Golden Guardians +223

Team Liquid want to ensure a top-two finish in order to receive a first-round bye. Liquid are currently a game behind Cloud9 for first place, but they only have a one-game lead on 100 Thieves for the No. 2 seed. Fortunately, they don’t play any of the other top three teams in the last week, so they should be able to earn the bye as long as they hold serve.

Golden Guardians need to go 2-1 this week in order to feel good about its chances of making the playoffs. This team has never finished higher than fifth in the regular season, but the Golden Guardians have a chance to finish as high as fourth.

Evil Geniuses -194

FlyQuest +150

This might be the most important match on Friday. FlyQuest are in fourth place with an 8-7 record, while Dignitas, Evil Geniuses, and Golden Guardians are tied for fifth at 7-8. We have seen FlyQuest stumble after a strong start though, as they are 3-6 in their last nine games. Mid laner Toucouille has been great though with a 4.5 KDA while dealing 30.2% of his team’s damage.

The continued struggles of Evil Geniuses make it hard to bet the team at this price. Inspired and Danny are the two best players on the roster, but Jojopyun continues to underperform in the mid lane. Evil Geniuses beat FlyQuest earlier this year, yet they have largely faltered against good teams, so back the underdog here.

Cloud9 -270

Dignitas +203

Cloud9 have been the best team in the LCS all season. They are the top-ranked team in the league right now at 12-3, but they lost to Team SoloMid last week. This is still the favorite to win the LCS as Summit has been playing phenomenally in the top lane, and Fudge’s move to the mid lane has paid off in a big way.

It’s been an interesting year for Dignitas. They were expected to be one of the bottom teams in the league this year, but they have outperformed expectations to hover around .500. River is a top-tier jungler, but they are playing the top three teams in the league this weekend.

Counter Logic Gaming -113

Immortals -113

This is essentially an elimination match as these are two of the three worst teams in the LCS. Immortals will be knocked out of playoff contention with a loss, while CLG will likely be eliminated with a defeat. Immortals were able to knock off CLG earlier this year, but they have lost seven straight matches.

100 Thieves -355

Team SoloMid +257

The defending LCS champions can knock Team SoloMid out of postseason contention. 100 Thieves have won five straight matches as Closer is playing very well in the jungle with a 5.6 KDA. Ssumday has been superb too with a 5.9 KDA, and he has been great on Tryndamere. TSM won both their games last week, and it looks like they have found something with Takeover in the mid lane. They will have a hard time beating 100 Thieves on Friday though.
