2022 League of Legends LCS Lock In Betting

For the second straight year, we will have the LCS Lock In before the regular season gets underway. Team Liquid beat Cloud9 in the final of this event last year, and those two teams are the favorites to take home the title this year. However, the team to bet on is 100 Thieves as the reigning LCS champions have continuity from last year’s roster, while many of their toughest competitors will be breaking in new rosters.

2022 League of Legends LCS Lock In Betting Odds

Team Liquid +162

Cloud9 +200

100 Thieves +350

Evil Geniuses +900

Team SoloMid +1200

Immortals +1600

Golden Guardians +2500

FlyQuest +5000

Dignitas +8000

Counter Logic Gaming +10000

The overall favorite to win the 2022 LCS Lock In is Team Liquid. They were the North American team that did the most in the offseason, somehow peeling away Bjergsen from Team SoloMid and also bringing in Bwipo and Hans Sama from Europe. CoreJJ is still an elite support and Santorin is a very good jungler, so there is a lot to like about the potential.

However, this is too low of a price for Liquid considering Bjergsen was retired in 2021 and Bwipo played jungle for the second half of last season with Fnatic.

It’s going to be very interesting to watch Cloud9 in 2022. C9 said goodbye to Perkz and Vulcan, and top laner Fudge is moving into the mid lane. Blaber is still a very good jungler, but there are questions at every other position so it’s hard to have a lot of faith in this team.

After winning their first LCS title last summer, 100 Thieves didn’t feel the need to change things up too much. They signed Tenacity from their academy team to eventually replace Ssumday in the top lane, but they are essentially running it back with last year’s championship winning team. Abbedagge and Closer are a very good mid-jungle duo, and the bottom lane is decent enough to win.

Kudos to Evil Geniuses for playing a domestic mid laner. They will be starting former academy mid laner Jojopyun in the role, and they made a big splash with their addition of Inspired from Rogue. Danny is a promising young bottom laner with two veteran supports in Ignar and Vulcan, so this is a team that could surprise if mid lane is decent.

The most beloved team in the LCS did something unorthodox by grabbing mid laner Keaiduo and support Shenyi from the LPL in the offseason. They are hoping that Tactical can rediscover his previous form, but the big question is in the top lane with Huni. Team SoloMid took a big risk on him last year, and he disappointed over the second half of the season after a strong start.

Immortals is a very interesting team to watch. They added veterans PowerOfEvil and WildTurtle, and they could end up contending if certain things break their way. Xerxe can still be a difference maker as a jungler in certain formats too.

The bottom four teams in the league don’t have much of a chance to win the LCS Lock In Tournament. Golden Guardians has some veterans on the team in Licorice and Olleh, but not a lot of talent. FlyQuest, Dignitas, and Counter Logic Gaming all have huge questions, and there is a reason that all three of those teams are 50-1 or more. CLG are especially in trouble as this is a brand new roster.
