2022 League of Legends LCK Spring Split Week 8 Betting

The dream is still alive. Three-time League of Legends World Champions T1 are the most successful team in the history of the Esport. T1 haven’t won Worlds since 2016, but they have been the most impressive team in the world through the first two months of the 2022 season. They are the only team in the major regions that is still unbeaten, and they have a chance to become the first team in LCK history to finish the regular season undefeated. T1 only plays one team with a winning record in their last four matches, so they have a good chance of becoming the most dominant team we have seen in Korean history.

2022 League of Legends LCK Spring Split Week 8 Betting Odds

T1 -590

Kwangdong Freecs +365

This line might be a little low considering how strong T1 has been throughout the course of the season. The odds-on favorites to win the LCK swept Kwangdong Freecs in Week 1, and Faker and Zeus wildly outplayed their counterparts in lane. Zeus and Gumayusi are finally living up to their hype, and that has made T1 a terrifying team to play.

Kwangdong Freecs have former T1 starters in the jungle (Ellim) and bottom lane (Teddy). Teddy has proven that he can still play at a high level, but Ellim is not a carry jungler that can lead his team to victory in this meta. He is way too reliant on Lee Sin and Xin Zhao although not posting a KDA over 3.0 on either champion.

Nongshim Red Force +239

DWG KIA -344

The winners of the last three LCK titles have taken a step back in 2022. DWG KIA have not been as strong as they were in 2020 or 2021 despite the presence of Canyon and ShowMaker. That duo is playing at a high level, and the bottom lane has been fine as Deokdam shows why he was a prized pickup this offseason. However, Burdol continues to struggle in the top lane, so fans are hoping that the team can bring back Nuguri.

They will also be facing their former bottom laner as Ghost has been the starting AD Carry for Nongshim Red Force this season. Ghost has played relatively well, silencing his critics, but BDD has long failed against ShowMaker on the main stage. Nongshim Red Force were able to upset DWG KIA earlier this year, but it won’t happen again.

KT Rolster -182

Liiv SANDBOX +135

KT Rolster have made a change in the mid lane. Aria has been benched in favor of Vicla, but that didn’t change any results. Although Vicla was strong on Ahri with a 7.7 KDA on the champion, KT Rolster were swept by DRX and T1 in their two matches last week. There is reason to be more optimistic about their chances against lesser teams this week though.

The loser of this match is likely eliminated from postseason contention. Both KT Rolster and Liiv SANDBOX are two games out of the playoffs going into their games on Thursday, so neither team can afford a loss here.

Gen.G -700

Hanwha Life Esports +413

It was disappointing that Gen.G didn’t have their full roster available for last week’s showdown with T1. They are fresh off a scintillating win over DWG KIA on Wednesday that will likely lock up second place for the team, and they are expected to have their full contingent available against last place Hanwha Life Esports on Saturday. Chovy, Ruler, Doran, Peanut, and Lehends make an incredible team, while Hanwha Life are a major work in progress.
