The NBA presents an 11-game slate with a double doubleheader to cap off the betting week on Sunday, February 25. Some key conference matchups are on tap for your NBA parlay with the Milwaukee Bucks visiting Philadelphia in an Eastern Conference tilt. Both clubs looking to end a recent slide that’s moved them down the standings. That tilt gets the afternoon started at 1 p.m. ET on ABC with the second game having the Lakers at Phoenix at 3:30 p.m. ET. The Bucks entered the All-Star break with just three wins in 10 games since Doc Rivers took over as head coach and Philly dropped nine of 12 games ahead of the break while dealing with the absence of MVP Joel Embiid. Enough of the bad news let’s get to some squads that are tearing it up. The Dallas Mavericks won six in a row ahead of the break inching closer to a top-six in the Western Conference. Five of those wins were by double digits and they covered in each one. The Mavs aim to continue their surge in a matchup with Indiana. And speaking of making money the Orlando Magic have done plenty of that for their backers this season going 36-19 ATS for the best cover rate in the NBA at 65.5 percent. We’re just a week into the 2023-24 NBA season and already there’s been a huge shakeup. It was a given that James Harden wasn’t going to play for the Philadelphia 76ers after remarks he made regarding the team’s GM. And both parties got their wish with Harden shipped to the LA Clippers for a handful of players and draft picks. Unfortunately neither team is in action on Friday, November 3, so we’ll have to look elsewhere for our NBA parlay picks with seven games to choose from. The Bucks play at home for the fourth time in their first five games when they entertain the New York Knicks. In what is expected to be a crowded top of the Eastern Conference, taking care of business is a big deal. The defending champion Nuggets picked up right where they left off winning their first four games. Denver hosts Luka Doncic and the Mavs on Friday in the first of a four-game homestand. The Nuggets were the best home team in the NBA last season winning 84.6 percent of their games including playoffs with the third-best cover ratio at 60.8 percent. With plenty of uncertainty around the NBA I actually had a decent opener on my first Friday parlay missing out on three-team winner by half a point. I backed the Celtics at -8.5 for their home tilt with Miami only to see them win 119-111. ... 

The first Friday night of the 2023-24 NBA season has 11 games on the slate with preseason Larry O’Brien Trophy favorite Boston Celtics looking to exorcise some demons when hosting the Miami Heat. For those who may have forgotten, and I’m sure many Celtics fans are in that category, the Heat won Game 7 in Boston to win the Eastern Conference and advance to the NBA Finals. Miami became the second No. 8 seed to reach the championship series. Playing for the East title in each of the past two seasons and in three of the last four, the teams have created quite a rivalry and there will certainly be plenty of fireworks. ...

Miami rebounded from a sorry shooting display in Game 1, played strong defense on everybody but Nikola Jokic, and came away with a 111-108 win after Jamal Murray missed a potential game-tying three-pointer at the horn. Miami will host Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday with the series tied 1-1. Miami took care of a few things on Sunday snapping a 7-game overall losing streak to the Nuggets while handing them their first home setback this postseason. Underdogs virtually all this postseason the Heat are catching 2.5-points on the opening line. They’ve been a good bet as the underdog going 9-7 SU and 11-5 ATS. The Nuggets haven’t been nearly as good on the road as they are at home. They had a losing record during the regular year and are 4-3 this postseason, though they’ve won their last three away contests. ...

The Denver Nuggets sat atop the standings most of the season finishing 10 games better than the Lakers and homecourt advantage could be huge. The Nuggets had the second-best home record in the NBA during the regular season and they are a perfect 6-0 at home during the postseason with five payouts.
