NBA Basketball Odds - Golden State Warriors at Toronto Raptors NBA Finals Game 2 Preview

NBA Basketball Odds

The Golden State Warriors are favored to win a third consecutive NBA championship, but another loss on the road next time out could put that in peril. The Toronto Raptors took an early series lead with a Game 1 victory and will aim to jump out to a 2-0 advantage this weekend.

Toronto has the home court advantage once again in this one and would love to put the pressure on the Warriors. However, Golden State is battle-tested and will not go down without a fight. This game should be a good one and the oddsmakers are projecting a close showdown in NBA odds.

Game 2 of the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors will be held at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, June 2nd, 2019. The game will be nationally televised on ABC.

We'll have NBA basketball odds at BookMaker.eu available for every game of the 2019 NBA season.

Odds Analysis

Toronto was a slight favorite in Game 1 and has similar odds in Game 2, as it is listed as the 1.5-point favorite. The Raptors are coming in at -125 on the moneyline while the Warriors are listed at +105 to pull off the mini upset.

The scoring total is listed at 215 points, a couple points higher than Game 1 after the “over” easily hit in the Raptors’ 118-109 victory. Toronto covered in Game 1 and would love to do so again in this one because it would mean another victory in NBA gambling.

Last Time Out

Pascal Siakam had 32 points, eight rebounds and two blocks as the Raptors surged ahead in the earlygoing and made big shots down the stretch to wrap up the win. Siakam hit 14-of-17 shots from the field to give Toronto an unexpected and much-welcomed boost. Kawhi Leonard didn’t shoot very well but still finished with 23 points, eight rebounds and five assists while Marc Gasol added 20 points and played impressive defense.

The Warriors got 34 points from Stephen Curry and 21 from Klay Thompson, but no one else on the team had more than 10 points. Draymond Green did finish with a triple double but the Golden State offense was not as efficient as usual as the team shot 43 percent compared to 50 percent for Toronto.

Injury Report

The Warriors were once again without superstar power forward Kevin Durant, who continues to be sidelined with a calf injury. He did travel to Toronto for Games 1 and 2 and his status will be watched closely as Game 2 approaches on Sunday. If he can get out there, Durant’s presence would be a huge boost for Golden State and it would have an effect on the spread.

Golden State did welcome star center DeMarcus Cousins back to the court for Game 1. However, Cousins only played eight minutes and finished with three points, two steals and two assists. It will be interesting to see if Cousins has a bigger role in Game 2.

The Warriors are going to respond in this matchup and pick up the win, so they are the right choice on the moneyline. Siakam is not going to play this well again and the scoring is going to come down next time out. The “under” is the correct call on the total in NBA wagering.

Even if it doesn’t get Durant back, Golden State will have enough in the tank to sneak out this win and tie up the series at one game apiece in NBA gambling.

NBA ATS Pick: Golden State Warriors 107, Toronto Raptors 104
