MLB Wednesday, June 7 Parlay Picks

MLB Network has the bulk of the televised action in Major League Baseball on Wednesday with three games, including the Chicago Cubs at the Los Angeles Angels. Normally on Wednesday we have a bunch of matinees but that is not the case this week, as there are just two games in the day, as the A’s visit the Pirates on MLB Network and the Mariners are at the Padres. The other MLB Network game on Wednesday is the White Sox at the Yankees. There is also one game on ESPN+ with the Cardinals at the Rangers. Our three-team parlay on Wednesday will have two sides, including the game on MLB Network between the Cubs and Angels and one total. Let’s look at Wednesday, June 7 MLB parlay picks.

Dodgers-Reds Over

The Los Angeles Dodgers visit the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday night and it should be Noah Syndergaard going for Los Angeles, while Cincinnati sends Brandon Williamson. It is hard to believe that the Dodgers are running Syndergaard out there again, but their rotation is so banged up that they are giving Thor another start. He has been nothing short of a disaster this season with a 1-4 record and a 6.54 ERA. He has even said that he simply doesn’t know what is wrong and that he can’t figure things out. On the other side, Williamson has an ERA of 4.29 ERA. I am tempted simply to take the Reds, but I don’t trust Williamson, so I will take the game over the total as the first game in the parlay.

San Francisco Giants

The San Francisco Giants visit the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday night and the probable pitching matchup has Brandon Webb going against Connor Seabold. Webb is just 4-6 on the season but his ERA is very good at 2.85. He has gone at least seven innings in four of his last five starts. Seabold is 1-2 with a 5.40 ERA. He did pitch pretty well last time out against Arizona, but he still went just 5.1 innings. I don’t think Seabold will have much success at home in this game and Colorado hasn’t played well at home or on the road. I’ll take the Giants as the second team in the parlay.

Los Angeles Angels

The late game on MLB Network has the Chicago Cubs visiting the Los Angeles Angels. The Cubs are expected to send Jameson Taillon to the mound, while the Angels send Jaime Barria. Taillon finally pitched a good game last time out, as he went 5.2 innings against the Padres and allowed just one run. I am not sold Taillon has turned the corner, but we’ll see. Barria has been very good for the Angels, as he comes into this game at 2-2 with a 1.59 ERA. Whenever the Angels give him a spot start, he is effective and I think he will pitch well again in this one and give Los Angeles a chance to win. I’ll take the Angels as the last game in the parlay.
