MLB Wednesday, June 14 Parlay Picks

The MLB schedule for Wednesday, June 14 provides us with some intriguing choices for our MLB parlay picks. There are only three matinees, so the bulk of the action is under the lights. ESPN decided they wanted to make this Wednesday a big day, so they will be showing two games, the Yankees at the Mets and the White Sox at the Dodgers. MLB Network has the game between the Giants and the Cardinals and ESPN+ will be showing the game between the Nationals and Astros. We’ll look at two sides and one total for the three-team parlay on Wednesday night, including the game between the White Sox and Dodgers on ESPN. Let’s look at Wednesday, June 14 MLB parlay picks.

Nationals-Astros Under

The Washington Nationals visit the Houston Astros on Wednesday night and it should be a very good pitching matchup with Josiah Gray going up against Framber Valdez. The Nationals are not a good team but one of their bright spots this season has been Gray. He comes into this game at 4-5 but his ERA is 3.00. On the other side, Valdez is only 6-5 but his ERA is 2.36. He should have a far better record than he does, but the bullpen has not done him any favors. This has all the looks of a pitching duel, so I will go under the total with the Nationals and Astros as the first game in the parlay.

Tampa Bay Rays

The best team in Major League Baseball is the Tampa Bay Rays and they get the good fortune of playing the worst team in the league, the Oakland Athletics on Wednesday night. The pitching matchup should be heavily in favor of the road team, as the Rays are expected to send Tyler Glasnow to the mound, while the A’s go with Luis Medina. It really doesn’t matter to me who the Rays throw, but if it is Glasnow, so much the better, as he is 1-0 with a 2.87 ERA. Regardless, this is a play against the A’s and Medina. He is 1-5 with a 7.53 ERA this season. He is coming off a rare good start against the Brewers and for some reason the A’s were great against Milwaukee, but I don’t see Medina having any success against the Rays. I’ll take Tampa as the second game in the parlay.

Los Angeles Dodgers

The last game in the parlay is the late game on ESPN between the White Sox and Dodgers. The probable pitching matchup has Mike Clevinger going for the Sox, while the Dodgers send Clayton Kershaw. Clevinger is 3-4 on the season with a 4.19 ERA, while Kershaw is 8-4 with a 2.95 ERA. Clevinger rarely had any success while pitching for the Padres against the Dodgers and I don’t see that changing in this game. Kershaw has been very good this season and at home he is 4-1 with a 1.45 ERA. This should be a home win for Kershaw and Los Angeles. I’ll take the Dodgers as the last game in the parlay.
