MLB Wednesday, April 12 Parlay Picks

It is getaway day in Major League Baseball on Wednesday and that means a lot of matinees. More than half of the games on the Wednesday baseball schedule are in the day, including the Padres at the Mets on MLB Network. There are also three other games on MLB Network on Wednesday, as the Nationals visit the Angels, the Tigers are at the Blue Jays and the Dodgers visit the Giants. We have started the season hitting some of our parlays, so we’ll look to keep it going on Wednesday. Let’s look at Wednesday, April 12 MLB parlays.

Baseball Betting Bonus

We should see a lot of runs scored on Wednesday in the game between the A’s and Orioles. Oakland is scheduled to send Ken Waldichuk to the mound, while the Orioles send Dean Kremer. Waldichuk comes into this game at 0-2 with an ERA of more than 14. He went 5.2 innings against the Angels and gave up nine hits and six runs and then it was even worse against the Rays last time out as he went just three innings and gave up eight hits and eight runs.

Kremer hasn’t been much better, as he has an ERA of more than 10 this season. He went just three innings in his first start and gave up six hits and five runs and it wasn’t that much better in his second start against the Yankees, as he gave up five hits and four runs in five innings. I’ll go over the total with the A’s and Orioles as the first team in the parlay.

Toronto Blue Jays

The Blue Jays host the Tigers on Wednesday night with the probable pitching matchup having Eduardo Rodriguez going for the Tigers, while the Blue Jays send Kevin Gausman. Not much has gone right for Rodriguez so far this season, as he is 0-2 with a 6.30 ERA. He went 5.1 innings against the Rays in his first start and allowed 3 runs and three hits. He went just 4.2 innings last time out against the Astros and gave up six hits and four runs.

Gausman is 1-1 on the season and has yet to give up an earned run. He did give up eight hits and three runs in the opener against the Cardinals, but none of the runs were earned. He went six innings last time out against the Royals and gave up no runs and just four hits. I’ll lay the price and take the Blue Jays as the second team in the parlay.

Atlanta Braves

The last game in the parlay has the Reds visiting the Braves with the pitching matchup having Hunter Greene against Spencer Strider. The Reds still believe in Greene, as he has a great arm, but his results haven’t been anything special. He has an ERA of over five this season. He went just 3.1 innings and gave up five hits and three runs in his first start against the Pirates and then he went just 4.2 innings and gave up five hits and two runs against the Phillies.

Strider is 1-0 with a 2.45 ERA. He went six innings and gave up no runs and just three hits in his first start against the Nationals and then went five innings and gave up three runs and four hits against the Padres. The Braves have the edge all over the field in this game, so I’ll lay the price and take Atlanta as the final team in the parlay.
