MLB Parlay Picks for Tuesday, May 30, 2023

MLB Tuesday, May 30 Parlay Picks

The MLB parlay success ended on Friday night as we hit two of three but the Pirates and Mariners actually scored some runs and ruined the three-team parlay. We should have known when we touted the Friday night success that we could be in trouble. Tuesday night is the national night for TBS and they have the Phillies at the Mets. MLB Network has the Pirates at the Giants and ESPN+ has the late game between the Nationals and Dodgers. We’ll look to get rolling again with another parlay winner on Tuesday, as we go with three sides in a three-team parlay. Let’s look at Tuesday, May 30 MLB parlay picks.

Tampa Bay Rays

Are you convinced yet that the Tampa Bay Rays are here to stay? They have the best record in the league and they have been at the top all season. The Rays visit the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday night and the probable pitching matchup has Shane McClanahan going for the Rays, while the Cubs send Kyle Hendricks. One of the pitchers I have been backing on a regular basis is McClanahan and he has not disappointed, as he comes into this game at 8-0 with a 1.97 ERA. Hendricks made his first start of the season against the Mets and it did not go well, as he went just 4.1 innings and gave up six hits and five runs, three of which were earned. Perhaps Hendricks will be better in his second start, but this still looks like a mismatch, so I will take the Rays as the first team in the parlay.

Atlanta Braves

The Atlanta Braves visit the Oakland A’s on Tuesday night and it should be Bryce Elder going against JP Sears. The Braves have been one of the top teams in the league this season and Elder has been really good with a 3-0 record and a 2.01 ERA. The A’s are worth going against on a nightly basis. Sears has actually been okay but he gets no run support. He is 0-3 with a 4.70 ERA. I have had success going against the A’s this season and I see no reason to take them in this game, as Atlanta is a very good team with a solid pitching edge. I’ll take the Braves as the second team in the parlay.

Los Angeles Dodgers

The Washington Nationals visit the Los Angeles Dodgers in the late game on Tuesday night and it should be Jake Irvin going for Washington, while the Dodgers send Tony Gonsolin. It has been a tough go for Irvin who comes into this game at 1-2 with a 5.32 ERA. I am not sure what the Nationals see in Irvin, as he has had just one start where he went more than 4.2 innings. Gonsolin doesn’t get nearly the respect he deserves, as his numbers over the last year rank right with the best pitchers in all of baseball. He is 2-1 this season with a 1.82 ERA. I’ll take the Dodgers as the last team in the parlay.
