MLB Parlay Picks for Tuesday, May 16, 2023

MLB Tuesday, May 16 Parlay Picks

We finally cooled off with the MLB parlay picks on Friday, but it took extra innings to do it, as the Rangers blew a lead and lost to the A’s, costing us a three-team parlay. Tuesday’s have been good to us with the MLB parlay picks, so we’ll look to continue the good run. Tuesday’s MLB schedule features the Cubs at the Astros on TBS and the Twins at the Dodgers on MLB Network. We’ll focus on three teams for our MLB parlay pick. Let’s look at Tuesday, May 16 MLB parlay picks.

Cleveland Guardians

The first game in the parlay has the Cleveland Guardians visiting the Chicago White Sox. Shane Bieber gets the ball for the Guardians while early indications are that the White Sox will send Lance Lynn. Bieber is 3-1 on the season with a 2.61 ERA. He has picked things up of late going seven, eight and six innings in his last three starts and allowing just two, two and no earned runs. Lynn has been terrible for the White Sox with a 1-5 record and an ERA of over seven. If Lynn does indeed get the start, it helps our cause, but regardless, I am backing Bieber and the Guardians as the first team in the parlay.

Arizona Diamondbacks

The Arizona Diamondbacks visit the Oakland Athletics on Tuesday night and it really doesn’t matter to me who either team throws, as this is a play against Oakland. The A’s have been a dumpster fire and even at home, they have been putrid this season. It could be Tommy Henry going for Arizona and he has been serviceable with a 1-1 record and a 4.43 ERA. It looks like Kyle Muller is going to get the start for Oakland and he has been awful. He is 1-3 with an ERA of more than seven. I don’t know what the A’s see in him, but as long as they keep throwing him out there, I’ll keep going against him. I’ll take the Diamondbacks as the second team in the parlay.

San Diego Padres

Keeping with the idea of going against bad teams, we have the Kansas City Royals visiting the San Diego Padres on Tuesday night. The Royals and A’s are simply two of the worst teams in the league and that is not going to change anytime soon. Brady Singer is expected to get the ball for Kansas City and he can’t get anything going in the right direction. He is 2-4 with a 7.71 ERA this season. On the other side, Seth Lugo should get the ball for the Padres. He is 3-2 with a 3.18 ERA. This is a good spot for Lugo to pick up another win and a good spot for the Padres to flush out the disaster of a series against the Dodgers from their minds. The Royals are a great tonic to any team looking to get a win. We’ll take the Padres as the last team in the parlay.
