MLB Parlay Picks for Tuesday, July 4, 2023

MLB Tuesday, July 4 Parlay Picks

Let’s look to the July 4 holiday to hit some big MLB parlay winners. We are looking to turn the corner and get hot this week and we’ll change things up and go with two different MLB parlays. Tuesday is a full slate of action and much of it is in the daytime with 10 matinees on the MLB schedule. MLB Network has the bulk of the coverage with three games, as they have the Cincinnati Reds at the Washington Nationals, the Baltimore Orioles at the New York Yankees and the New York Mets at the Arizona Diamondbacks. ESPN+ has the game between the St. Louis Cardinals and Miami Marlins. We’ll go with one three-team parlay on sides and a two-team parlay on totals. Let’s look at Tuesday, July 4 MLB parlay picks.

MLB Sides Parlay

Miami Marlins -148

Houston Astros -220

Los Angeles Dodgers -165

$100 to win $291

Miami Marlins

There does not seem to be much doubt that it is time to fade Adam Wainwright anytime he is on the mound. He is now 3-3 on the season but his ERA is 7.45. His days of effectively pitching well for the Cardinals appear to be over. Jesus Luzardo has been solid for the Marlins this season with a 6-5 record and a 3.53 ERA. I’ll take Miami as the first team in the parlay.

Houston Astros

The Houston Astros have gotten really good pitching this season from J.P. France, as he is one of the most underrated pitchers in the league. He is just 3-3 on the season but his ERA is 3.13. He has a good chance to pick up a win on Tuesday against the Colorado Rockies. It will likely be Kyle Freeland for Colorado, but it doesn’t matter to me who the Rockies throw. I’ll take the Astros as the second team in the parlay.

Los Angeles Dodgers

I’ll go with the Dodgers as the final team in the parlay. They will likely be going with Emmett Sheehan and he has been solid in his limited action. He 2-0 with a 2.65 ERA. The Pirates are expected to send Luis Ortiz and he comes into this game at 2-3 with a 4.11 ERA. I’ll go with the Dodgers as the last team in the parlay.

MLB Totals Parlay

Orioles-Yankees Over 8.5 (-120)

Angels-Padres Under 8 (-125)

$100 to win $230

Orioles-Yankees Over

The Orioles and Yankees should be scoring some runs on Tuesday, as the probable pitching matchup has Kyle Gibson going for Baltimore, while the Yankees send Clarke Schmidt. Gibson is 8-5 on the season but his ERA has risen to nearly five. Schmidt is 3-6 and his ERA is 4.37. I’ll take the Orioles and Yankees over for the first game in the totals parlay.

Angels-Padres Under

We should have a pitching duel between the Angels and Padres with Shohei Ohtani going for the Angels and Joe Musgrove getting the ball for San Diego. Ohtani is 7-3 with a 3.02 ERA, while Musgrove is 6-2 with a 3.80 ERA. Both teams have big star power, but neither offense has been putting up big numbers. I’ll go under with the Angels and Padres as the second team in the MLB totals parlay.
