MLB Parlay Picks for Tuesday, April 18, 2023

MLB Tuesday, April 18 Parlay Picks

It is a full schedule in Major League Baseball on Tuesday as we look to keep the red-hot run going with the MLB parlay picks. We slowed down a bit on Friday, but considering we had a pitching change that eliminated one of our plays and a push on our total, we still came out ahead with the Mets winning their game. All of Tuesday’s games are under the lights with some interesting matchups on tap. One of those games is the late game on TBS between the Mets and the Dodgers with Clayton Kershaw scheduled to be on the mound for Los Angeles. Let’s look to keep the winning going with the Tuesday, April 18 MLB parlay picks.

Pirates-Rockies Over 12.5

The first game in our three-team parlay has the Pirates visiting the Rockies. The Pirates are expected to have Vince Velasquez on the mound, while the Rockies send Jose Urena. It has been rough for each of the two starters, as Velasquez is 1-2 wit ha 5.40 ERA for the Pirates, while Urena has struggled with an 9-2 record and a 9.90 ERA. This one should see the bullpens involved early, so I will go over the total in this game as the first leg of the parlay.

Brewers-Mariners Under 7.5

We should have a pitching duel on Tuesday night when the Brewers visit the Mariners. Milwaukee is expected to send Colin Rea, while it should be Logan Gilbert for the Mariners. Rea comes into this game with no record but an ERA of 1.59. He looked good in his first start of the season, as he held the Padres to just one run and two hits in 5.2 innings. On the other side Gilbert has picked up where he left off last season for Seattle. He comes into this game at 1-1 with a 2.70 ERA. He went 6.2 innings last time out against the Cubs and allowed just one run. I’ll go under with the Brewers and Mariners as the second leg of the MLB parlay.

Braves -155

The last game in the parlay has the Braves visiting the Padres. It should be a pitching matchup of Spencer Strider against Blake Snell. The numbers for Strider so far this season are solid, as he is 1-0 with a 3.38 ERA. On the other side, Snell is 0-2 with an ERA of nearly seven. I think Snell is one of the most overrated pitchers in the league and I definitely look to go against him when he goes up against a quality team and the Braves right now look to be one of the top teams in the league. I know the Padres have a potent lineup, but I like the pitching matchup in this one, so I will take the Braves as the last team in the parlay.

Just in case we get any pitching changes, I will throw in one other game and take the under in the Diamondbacks vs. Cardinals game. I like the pitching matchup of Drey Jameson vs. Jordan Montgomery. This should be a pitching duel that goes under the total.
