MLB Parlay Picks for Friday, May 12, 2023

MLB Friday, May 12 Parlay Picks

We hit yet another MLB parlay on Tuesday night, although it turned into a two-teamer when the Mets pulled Max Scherzer from his start. The Indians took care of business with a win over Detroit and the Giants handled the Nationals. We couldn’t quite pull out another parlay win on Wednesday, as the last game in the parlay let us down. Friday’s action is Apple TV+ night with the White Sox at the Twins and the Royals at the Brewers. One of our picks for Friday night will be on the game between Kansas City and Milwaukee. The late game between the Padres and Dodgers is on ESPN+ and another of our picks will feature that game. We have three sides to look at for our Friday MLB parlay. Let’s look to keep the success going with Friday, May 12 MLB parlay picks.

Milwaukee Brewers

The first game in our parlay should be a mismatch with the Kansas City Royals visiting the Milwaukee Brewers. As of this writing the Royals were undecided on who they were going to start, while the Brewers were set to go with Corbin Burnes. It doesn’t matter to me who Kansas City throws, as they are simply a bad team. On the other side, Burnes is 3-2 with a 3.86 ERA. He has gone six innings in each of his last two starts and I expect an even better effort on Friday against a weak hitting Kansas City team. I’ll take the Brewers as the first team in the Friday night parlay.

Texas Rangers

Another mismatch should be in Oakland on Friday night with the Texas Rangers visiting the Oakland Athletics. This Oakland team is really bad and they could even challenge for the worst record in MLB history this season. As of this writing the A’s had not announced a starter for Friday, while the Rangers should be sending Martin Perez. He comes into this game at 4-1 with a 3.86 ERA. The last outing for Perez against the Angels was not a good one and I expect Perez to bounce back strongly on Friday against a poor Oakland team. It could be Ken Waldichuk going for the A’s, but it doesn’t matter to me who Oakland throws. I’ll take the Rangers as the second team in the parlay.

Los Angeles Dodgers

The late game on ESPN+ has the San Diego Padres visiting the Los Angeles Dodgers. The probable pitching matchup has Blake Snell going for the Padres, while the Dodgers send Dustin May. I am not a fan of Snell as I think he is overrated and overpaid. He comes into this game at 1-5 with an ERA of nearly five. May comes into this game at 4-1 with a 2.68 ERA. May went six innings last time out against the Padres and allowed just three hits and no runs. The price on this game is going to be lower than it should be, as the Padres get a lot of respect from the oddsmakers and for some reason people still think of Snell as a top pitcher. We’ll take the added value and go with the Dodgers as the last team in the parlay.
