MLB Parlay Picks for Friday, June 2, 2023

MLB Friday, June 2 Parlay Picks

Friday’s Major League Baseball schedule features all 30 teams in action and there are some excellent rivalry matchups including the Rays at the Red Sox, the Angels at the Astros and a rivalry that goes beyond the divisions and that is the one between the Yankees and Dodgers. Friday is Apple TV+ night and they have the Brewers at the Reds and the Guardians at the Twins. MLB Network has the game between the Yankees and Dodgers, while ESPN+ has the game between the Mariners and the Rangers. The Red Sox threw away their game against the Reds on Wednesday that cost us a parlay win. We’ll look to bounce back with two sides and one total for Friday’s three-team parlay. Let’s look at Friday, June 2 MLB parlay picks.

Milwaukee Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers visit the Cincinnati Reds on Friday and the Brewers should have their ace, Corbin Burnes on the mound, while the Reds throw Brandon Williamson. Burnes is 4-4 on the season with a 3.68 ERA, but he looked much better last time out against the Giants when he gave up just one run in seven innings. Williamson has done nothing for the Reds this season, and his ERA is over five. He didn’t make it out of the fifth inning in either of his last two starts. I’ll take the Brewers as the first team in the parlay.

Angels-Astros Under

We get a good pitching matchup on Friday night as the Los Angeles Angels visit the Houston Astros. It should be Shohei Ohtani going for the Angels, while the Astros send Cristian Javier. Ohtani is doing what he always does and that is give his team a chance to win every time out. He is 5-1 with a 2.91 ERA. He went six innings last time out against Miami and gave up just one earned run. Javier is 6-1 with a 2.97 ERA. He doesn’t get the attention of some of Houston’s other starters, but his numbers are excellent. He has given up just one earned run in each of his last three starts. I’ll go under the total with the Angels and Astros as the second game in the parlay.

San Diego Padres

The San Diego Padres host the Chicago Cubs on Friday night and it should be Jameson Taillon going for the Cubs, while the Padres send Michael Wacha. The Cubs were hoping that Taillon would be a reliable starter for them this season but the results so far are not encouraging. Taillon comes into this game with an 0-3 record and an ERA of 8.04. The Cubs gave Taillon a lot of money so they are going to see if he can work out his troubles, but the clock is ticking. The Padres have been very pleased with what they have seen from Wacha. He comes into this game 5-1 with a 3.45 ERA. He has given up two runs or less in each of his last five starts. The Padres look to have all of the edges on Friday, so I will take San Diego as the last team in the parlay.
