MLB Parlay Picks for Friday, July 14, 2023

MLB Friday, July 14 Parlay Picks

Major League Baseball gets back into action on Friday, as the All-Star Game is now in the rearview mirror. It was a good break for us as well, as it seemed like we were hitting two out of every three picks and missing on hitting a parlay. Friday’s action has Apple TV+ showing two games. It will be the San Francisco Giants at the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Los Angeles Dodgers at the New York Mets. ESPN+ has the game between the Chicago White Sox and Atlanta Braves, while MLB Network has the game between the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Angels. We’ll go with one three-team sides parlay and one two-game parlay on totals. Let’s look at Friday, July 14 MLB parlay picks.

MLB Sides Parlay

Tampa Bay Rays -280

Boston Red Sox -120

Seattle Mariners -165

$100 to win $300

Tampa Bay Rays

The Rays need to get the ship righted, as they have lost 7 of their last 10 games. They get a good opportunity to get things going, as they face the Kansas City Royals for the next three games. It should be Tyler Glasnow on Friday and he is 2-3 with a 4.10 ERA. The Royals are set to go with Alec Marsh and not much has gone right for Marsh, as he is 0-2 with a 7.00 ERA. It doesn’t really matter to me who the Rays throw, as I expect them to start off the second half of the season with a win, so I’ll take the Rays as the first team in the parlay.

Boston Red Sox

The Boston Red Sox visit the Chicago Cubs on Friday. The Red Sox are very much in the Wild Card race and they are set to go with Brayan Bello on Friday night. I have been really impressed with Bello, as he continues to get better and better. He is 6-5 with a 3.04 ERA. He has gone at least 6.2 innings in each of his last five starts and allowed two runs or less in each outing. I am not impressed with the Cubs who have been a disappointment this season and they have a losing record at home. I’ll take the Red Sox as the second team in the parlay.

Seattle Mariners

Another team ready to make a move in the American League is Seattle. They played well before the All-Star break and they are very much in Wild Card contention. They start the second half by hosting the Detroit Tigers and the Mariners should win this series. Eduardo Rodriguez really struggled in his return of the IL in his last start for Detroit and it could be he will need more time to figure things out. I’ll take the Mariners as the last team in the parlay.

MLB Totals Parlay

Astros-Angels Under 7.5 (-110)

Twins-A’s Under 7 (-130)

$100 to win $238

Astros-Angels Under

The Astros and Angels begin a series on Friday night and the Astros are going with J.P. France, while the Angels are set to send Shohei Ohtani. France is 4-3 with a 3.26ERA, while Ohtani is 7-4 with a 3.32 ERA. I expect a very good bounce back effort from Ohtani who has not been as sharp recently. The All-Star break was definitely good for him and I expect an excellent outing from him on Friday night and France has been really good for the Astros all season. I’ll go under the total with the Astros and Angels.

Twins-A’s Under

I know that Minnesota is in the mix for the AL Central title, but this is still a team with a losing record. Their offense doesn’t impress me at all and we know that the A’s struggle to score runs. I’ll go under the total with the Twins and A’s.
