MLB Friday, April 28 Parlay Picks

Ride the wave while you can, as the MLB parlay picks hit another winning parlay on Wednesday. The Diamondbacks had no trouble with the Royals and the Nationals and Mets went under the total. Whether or not you made it a three-team parlay was up to you, as we touted Patrick Sandoval for the Angels, but the A’s did go with a different pitcher than the one we mentioned. Regardless, it was another winning parlay. It is not easy to hit MLB parlays but we have been able to hit some early this season. We have new some new series beginning on Friday, so we’ll look to hit a nice three-team MLB parlay to start the weekend. There is one matinee on Friday, as the Royals visit the Twins on MLB Network. The one nationally televised game in the evening has the Braves at the Mets on MLB Network. Let’s look at the Friday, April 28 MLB parlay picks, which just happen to include both of the MLB Network games.

Minnesota Twins

The matinee on MLB Network on Friday has the Kansas City Royals visiting the Minnesota Twins. The probable pitching matchup has Jordan Lyles going for the Royals, while the Twins go with Pablo Lopez. Lyles is 0-4 this season with a 4.88 ERA. Lopez is 1-2 with a 3.00 ERA. Lopez has somehow suffered two losses even though he has pitched well all season. That should not happen on Friday, as the Twins face a poor Kansas City team. This should be a home win for the Twins, so I will take Minnesota as the first team in the parlay.

Atlanta Braves

The Braves visit the Mets on Friday night in one of the high-profile matchups, as the Braves lead the National League East, while the Mets are in second place. It should be Max Fried going for the Braves while the Mets send David Peterson. Fried is off to a strong start this season, as he comes into this game with a 1-0 record and a 0.60 ERA. He has only given up one earned run in three starts this season. On the other side, Peterson has struggled, as he is 1-3 with a 7.36 ERA. The Mets are going to have to make a change in their rotation soon, as Peterson has not been the answer. I’ll take the Braves to get the road win in this game, as the second team in the parlay.

Reds-A’s Over

The Reds visit the A’s in one of the night games on Friday. The probable pitching matchup has Luis Cessa going for Cincinnati, while Oakland sends Kyle Muller. Both of these two starting pitchers have been awful this season. Cessa is 0-3 with an ERA of more than 10 and Muller hasn’t been much better with an 0-2 record and an ERA of more than 7. The Reds have been a little better than the A’s this season, but that isn’t saying much. What we do know is that neither team has much pitching, so even when these two starters leave the game, the bullpens should also give up runs. I’ll go over the total with the Reds and A’s as the last game in the MLB parlay for Friday night.
