It is a full schedule in Major League Baseball on Friday as we look to keep the red-hot run going with the MLB parlay picks. We hit another parlay winner on Wednesday to keep the strong start to the season going, as the A’s and Orioles went over, while the Blue Jays and Braves won. All of Friday’s games are under the lights with some interesting matchups on tap. We also have four West Coast matchups to consider as well that will give us some late-night action. Let’s look to keep the winning going with the Friday, April 14 MLB parlay picks.

New York Yankees

The Yankees are at home on Friday night hosting the Minnesota Twins and the pitching matchup favors New York. The Twins are set to go with Tyler Mahle who is 1-1 with a 4.09 ERA, while the Yankees send Nestor Cortes who is 2-0 with a 2.61 ERA. I think Cortes is still undervalued, as we get better prices on him than we do with Gerrit Cole on the mound and Cortes oftentimes does just as well. The Twins are off to a good start this season, but I like the pitching matchup here, so I’ll take the Yankees as the first team in the parlay.

New York Mets

We’ll keep it all New York with the second team in the parlay and go with the Mets on the road in Oakland. The A’s are a mess as a franchise right now with no clear direction and even at home they are not very good. The pitching matchup on Friday has Kodai Senga going for New York, while the A’s send James Kaprielian. Senga has been excellent so far for the Mets with a 2-0 record and a 1.59 ERA. The same cannot be said of Kaprielian who is 0-1 with an ERA of more than 11. This looks like a mismatch, so I will take the Mets as the second team in the parlay.

Rockies-Mariners Over 7.5

I am going against the grain a bit in the last game of the parlay and taking the Rockies and Mariners over the total. I know that Colorado can struggle to score runs away from home and you never know what you are going to get from the Mariners, but I am not sold on either starting pitcher on Friday night. The Rockies are sending Austin Gomber to the mound and it has not gone well for him this season, as he comes into this game with a record of 0-2 with an ERA of 6.75. Marco Gonzales gets the ball for Seattle and I know that is numbers are okay at 1-0 with a 4.22 ERA but I am not sold. Gonzales was fortunate just to make the starting rotation for Seattle this season and his best days are behind him. I think he still gets treated as a good starting pitcher by the oddsmakers, but I just don’t see it. He can be effective at times, but he is susceptible to the big inning and he no longer has the stuff to put away hitters. I think we could see a higher scoring game than the oddsmakers expect, so I will go over the total with the Rockies and Mariners for the final pick in the parlay.
