The Columbus Blue Jackets stunned the hockey world when they rallied from a 3-0 deficit at the Tampa Bay Lighting to win game one by a score of 4-3. Certainly, a lot of gamblers had what they thought were winning tickets that turned as red as their faces come the end of the game. Now the question is if Tampa Bay can recover from blowing a sure win on their home ice to start the series. One of the big worries heading into the playoffs was that the Lighting had not faced any real significant adversity during the regular season. As everyone knows during the playoffs you will see plenty of adversity whether you want it or not.

Lightning vs. Blue Jackets TV Coverage: CNBC
With Columbus in command with a 3-0 series lead and needing only one more win to clinch the series there will be plenty of bandwagon jumping, at least at the start of live betting action on Tuesday. Bargain hunters will keep a close eye on Tampa Bay however as the Presidents Trophy winners are still a loaded team that will desperately try to take the series back home for a game five.
The Blue Jackets have a stranglehold on this series and need just one more win to eliminate the Lighting in what would be the biggest upset since 2010 when the top seeded Washington Capitals were stunned in seven games by the Montreal Canadiens.
Lightning Strikes Tampa Bay
This series has been no accident as Tampa Bay has scored only five goals in the first three games. Of major concern is how the star power of the Lightning has faded in the playoffs. Right wing Nikita Kucherov has been shutout in the playoffs after scoring 41 goals with 87 assists and a plus 24 in the regular season. To make matters even worse Kucherov was suspended for game three due to an ugly game two boarding hit that could have warranted more punishment than it got.
And then there is the story of team captain Steven Stamkos, who is also wearing the collar after three games of action. Not only has Stammer been shut out on the scoresheet in his first three playoff games but he is also a minus five.
Tampa Bay has been one of the best values on the board on the road with only three losses in their last 16 away games. Seven of their last nine on enemy ice have gone over the total. Along the same lines the Blue Jackets have shown strong value in home games. Columbus has gotten the money in five of their last six games at Nationwide Arena. Six of their last 10 home games have gone over the total.
Head to Head
Tampa Bay has had the edge in their series against Columbus with six payouts in their last ten meetings. Four of the last seven between these teams have gone under the total. And at Nationwide Arena the Lighting have won six of their last 11 visits with five of the last six between these teams in Columbus going under the total.
