The defending TGL champion Atlanta Drive GC is off to a strong start with two wins in its first two matches.
First, Atlanta Drive GC scored a 6-4 win over the New York Golf Club on December 28. Next, Atlanta Drive GC posted a 7-4 win over The Bay Golf Club on January 6.
Atlanta has been able to win despite Justin Thomas being on the sidelines after back surgery during the offseason. Meanwhile, Lucas Glover has been out of the lineup so far, and his status is uncertain for Monday’s matchup against the Jupiter Links GC. But Atlanta has quality alternates in Chris Gotterup and Corey Conners.
The opposite has been true for Jupiter Links GC, which has lost its first two matches.
On January 13, Jupiter Links GC lost 8-3 to the New York Golf Club. And on January 20, Jupiter Links GC lost 8-4 to the Los Angeles Golf Club.
Unfortunately for TGL fans, Tiger Woods remains out of the lineup for the Jupiter Links GC after undergoing two major procedures in 2025 (Achilles and lumbar spine). Woods was to be the face of the franchise and the TGL, but it has not panned out so far. Additionally, Tom Kim has been absent because of scheduling conflicts (check status).
Jupiter Links GC signed alternate Akshay Bhatia, who has started alongside Max Homa and Kevin Kisner.

Clinging to a one-point advantage in a match they previously led by four, Collin Morikawa stepped up and drilled what would prove to be a match-clinching 17-foot birdie putt as Los Angeles Golf Club scored an 8-4 win over Jupiter Links Golf Club at SoFi Center.
That capped a wild night that saw a first-ever albatross, huge momentum swings, and clutch play down the stretch.
Los Angeles is now back in the playoff picture at 1-1-0, while Jupiter dropped its fifth straight match dating back to last season.
