Philadelphia Stars (6-3) at New Jersey Generals (8-1) – Noon – USA
The Philadelphia Stars opened as a 2.5-point underdog to the New Jersey Generals with a total of 41.5. New Jersey is a -130 moneyline favorite, with Philadelphia a +110 underdog.
Last week the Philadelphia Stars defeated the Pittsburgh Maulers 17-16 as 8.5-point overlay favorites, with the game going under the total of 47.5.
Pittsburgh outgained Philadelphia in total yards, 266 to 204. Neither team was able to generate sustained momentum on offense. Ultimately the difference in the game was Pittsburgh’s four turnovers. Pittsburgh kicker Ramiz Ahmed missed a 49 yard field goal with 58 seconds left to play.
Philadelphia quarterbacks Case Cookus and KJ Costello combined for a terrible performance. Cookus and Costello went 9/23 for 131 yards, 5.7 yards per attempt, and one interception. The one star for Philadelphia was running back Matt Colburn. Colburn ran for 97 yards on 12 carries and one touchdown. Jordan Suell caught three passes for 47 yards. At the same time, Bug Howard added two catches for 41 yards.

Michigan outgained 336 to 251 in total yards. But the Panthers self-destructed with three turnovers. The Generals got the winning touchdown with 2:33 remaining. Luis Perez threw a 17 yard touchdown pass to Darrius Shepherd.
