League of Legends 2020 LEC Spring Split Week 6 Betting Preview

It’s a strange time in the LEC. G2 Esports is no longer the overwhelming favorite after losing three of its last four games, and there is now a four-way tie atop the LEC Spring Split standings. The reigning Kings of Europe are tied with Fnatic, Origen, and Misfits Gaming at 7-3, leading to the LEC being wide open over the last month of the 2020 Spring Split. That should create some great drama over the next month as teams duke it out for the top two spots in Europe.

League of Legends 2020 LEC Spring Split Week 6 Betting Odds

MAD Lions -190
Excel Esports +150

MAD Lions are 6-4, but they are one of the most dangerous teams in Europe. They have one of the best young AD Carries in the game in Carzzy, and this bottom lane can take over games. Carzzy has been superb on Miss Fortune this year, posting a 7.5 KDA on the champion, and MAD Lions have won 80 percent of the games in which he has taken that champion into lane.

He has not fared well on a top tier champion like Aphelios though, so that makes MAD Lions somewhat vulnerable coming into this tilt. Carzzy is instrumental to what MAD Lions want to do, as Humanoid and Orome have been somewhat disappointing in their roles. If Excel put him on a champion that he is uncomfortable playing, they can pull off the upset.

Origen -200
Rogue +158

This is the best game on Saturday, as these are two of the top teams in Europe. Origen has been known for its incredible drafting. The organization is largely beating teams through its dominance in the draft phase, and that has given Origen a major advantage over its counterparts.

Meanwhile, Rogue has been abysmal in the draft phase. Rogue only has a winning record thanks to the exceptional skill of its players, and a more nuanced draft might make this the best team in Europe. That gives Origen a huge advantage here, as they will out-draft Rogue and win from there.

G2 Esports -665
Team Vitality +438

This is a great time to bet on G2. You are getting additional value on the best team in Europe since G2 has lost three of its last four games. This roster is still far more talented than any other region, and there’s not a position where Vitality has an advantage over G2 on Saturday.

Team Vitality just won its first game of the year last week, and this team is not going to contend with the juggernauts in Europe. The bottom lane for Vitality is a mess, and we are unlikely to see any real improvement at the other positions.

Misfits Gaming -360
SK Gaming +267

Call me crazy, but I still don’t believe in Misfits. Misfits has won seven of its last eight games, but this team is largely benefiting from the mistakes of its opponents. Febiven has played very well in the mid lane, and Bvoy has done an exceptional job in the bottom lane, but there are still far too many holes on this team to make me confident about taking them as a heavy favorite.

There are some real concerns about SK Gaming, but Sacre is better than people think in the top lane, and Crownshot has been fine in the bottom lane. SK will surprise over the last half of the season.

Fnatic -455
FC Schalke 04 +325

Schalke has looked much better over the last two weeks. The decision to replace Gilius and Forg1ven with Lurox and Innaxe has paid off, and they have won two of their last three games. Fnatic is a tough opponent, but this team is not the Fnatic of old. Hylissang is very streaky at support, and Rekkles is no longer the carry he was years ago.
