Only two teams, Cloud9 and OpTic Gaming, are out of the mix at 2-6, while four teams are 5-3 and four teams are sitting at 4-4. That means that there is plenty of room for movement during the final five weeks of the regular season. The top two teams at the end of the Summer Split receive an automatic bye into the semifinals, and that means a lot in a season where there is so much parity.

2018 League of Legends NA LCS Summer Split Week 5 Betting Lines
100 Thieves -120 Echo Fox +100
Echo Fox continues to be the most flexible team in North America. This team keeps experimenting and shows something new every week in this meta, making it almost impossible to prepare for them. Sometimes those strategies work, and sometimes they don’t, but there has been more success than failure. Last week, they experimented with a pick that has worked well in EU, Heimerdinger. The Donger had not been played in North America before Rift Rivals, but its success led many teams to wonder whether or not it could succeed in North America. Unfortunately for Echo Fox, the answer was a resounding ‘No’ last week. That pick will be retired, but I expect something new from Echo Fox in a win over 100 Thieves this time.
Team Liquid -190 Cloud9 +160
It’s been a rough year for Cloud9. The team was pilloried by its fans for benching Sneaky, Smoothie, and Jensen, and that decision turned out to be the wrong one. Sneaky and Jensen are back in the lineup, but the team saw enough potential from Zeyzal to keep playing him in the support role. They looked much better than they had in the past last week, and they nearly knocked off CLG. They are a very live dog headed into their match against Liquid.
Team SoloMid -330 OpTic Gaming +250
TSM has alternated 2-0 weeks with 0-2 weeks through the first four weeks of the season. Their strategy has been pretty straightforward to this point. The team is putting a lot of its trust into Zven, who is responsible for 34.6 percent of their damage, and a lot of the compositions revolve around him getting ahead. OpTic may be able to pull off the upset with some target bans though. TSM has relied on Hauntzer to take Aatrox into the top lane, with three of their four wins coming with him on the champion. Additionally, Bjergsen was on either Darius or Irelia in all four of their wins.
Counter Logic Gaming -180 Golden Guardians +150
Huhi has lived up to his reputation to this point. CLG’s mid laner continues to play every champion imaginable in his lane, and that has led to CLG getting some advantages in this meta. With such a deep champion pool, it is impossible to target ban against him, and the team usually tries to give him a boost by letting him counter with their last pick. However, Stixxay might be the team’s MVP. He leads North America with a 7.8 KDA, and he has made marksmen picks work even though this meta doesn’t favor them. Back CLG against Golden Guardians.
Clutch Gaming -120 FlyQuest +100
Clutch has been unable to close the door a lot of the time this season. Their average game time is north of 41 minutes, and that is one of the longest averages we have ever seen. The key here will be Lira. He has had an up and down split, but he is still seen as one of the best junglers in the world. If he plays well, Clutch will win.
