2018 League of Legends NA LCS Summer Split Odds

2018-eSports-Bookmaker-Online-Betting-Odds

There is a four-way tie atop the NA LCS after the first three weeks of the Summer Split. The top three teams from spring are all amongst the leaders as well as the team that has won more NA LCS titles than any other in Team SoloMid. There are three other teams that are right behind those four at 3-3, and that should make for an exciting stretch run over the last two-thirds of the season. Even the team that is currently sitting in last place, Cloud9, can’t be considered out of it if they make a few changes, adding to the intrigue.

2018 League of Legends NA LCS Week 4 Betting Lines

Echo Fox -155 Counter Logic Gaming +125

No team has been as willing to experiment as Echo Fox this split. Four of their five players have played multiple positions, and that has led to teams not knowing how to properly prepare to take them on. In the past, I have talked up Huni, but the play of Altec in the bottom lane has been enormous for the team in this meta. He has been able to play champions like Dr. Mundo and Vladimir, and that is a very important quality.

CLG has a lot of versatility in the mid lane. Huhi has been able to effectively use meta and off-meta picks, and that has helped this team find more success this split than it did in spring. However, Darshan has only been able to hop on tanks in the top lane, and that’s something that Huni can exploit.

Team SoloMid -150 100 Thieves +125

Zven shouldn’t play Ezreal for a while. TSM’s AD Carry has thrived on both Varys and Kai’Sa in this meta, but his performance on Ezreal has been woeful. Both of TSM’s losses have come when he is on the champion, while he has only died once in four matches on the other two champions. Look for TSM to prioritize one of those two picks for him here.

Meanwhile, 100 Thieves hope to keep getting great play out of Cody Sun. He has thrived playing with Aphromoo, and that has led to this team looking much better than anyone expected. Ssumday has looked sharp in the top lane too, and that will give this team the chance to pull off the upset.

Clutch Gaming -230 Golden Guardians +190

Although he ended up being named the MVP last split, Clutch Gaming mid laner Febiven has not looked the same in this one. Febiven has been taking interesting picks like Swain and Lulu into the mid lane, and that has brought the team mixed results. Yet this is one of the few teams that hasn’t experimented with funneling compositions or with role swapping.

Golden Guardians has done both. They would love to get Deftly onto Kai’Sa and have the flexibility to use the champion in multiple ways, so that’s something Clutch must prepare for. Lourlo has also performed well in the top lane, and he might be able to outduel solo.
Team Liquid -460 OpTic Gaming +360

This is the biggest mismatch of the weekend. OpTic may have won two matches, but those wins came as the result of giving PowerOfEvil a ton of the farm. That’s something Liquid can shut down with either Doublelift or Pobelter taking over the match. Still, that is a ton of juice to lay and I can’t imagine backing it.
