NBA Friday, March 10 Parlay Picks

It’s a light Friday night slate on the NBA calendar, but that doesn’t mean we can’t hit a winner on an NBA parlay. It’s not easy hitting a multi-team winner, which is why sportsbooks offer attractive odds and paying close attention to what’s happening in the Association can help us cash that winning ticket. I hit two winners on last week’s three-team parlay getting handed a losing ticket when the Celtics were upset at home by the Brooklyn Nets. I’ve done well on my parlay picks but have yet to string together all wins on a multi-team ticket. So unfortunately I haven’t tasted victory. That won’t prevent me from trying again since the regular season is getting down to the final weeks. Let’s have a look at NBA parlay picks for Friday, March 10.

The Lakers did what they could at the deadline to bring in the right pieces for a playoff push. They just didn’t anticipate LeBron James going down again with an injury. They will have to navigate a few more games without James, but they have put a decent run together winning five of seven games after knocking off Golden State, 113-105, on Sunday going 5-2 ATS. It might be difficult for some to hear, but the Lakers may actually be a better TEAM without James.

Anthony Davis is the centerpiece but five others scored in double figures in LA’s third win in four games against the Dubs this season. The Lakers climbed into a play-in spot with their recent surge and they are just a few games out of the top six in the congested Western Conference, and with their pieces fitting together they should cover at home against the Raptors.

Boasting the reigning MVP in Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets are leading the Western Conference with a far superior record than the Spurs. It would be easy just to back Denver but the moneyline price is going to be outrageous and the spread will be up there as well. I do think the Nuggets will win outright as they should, but there’s more value in playing the total. And with Denver’s strong offense facing the worst defensive team in the NBA throwing down on the OVER looks like a good play.

Averaging a triple-double with 24.4 points, 11.8 rebounds and 10.0 assists, Jokic is in the discussion for another MVP. But the Nuggets have been atop the West for most of the season thanks to a balanced attack that includes seven others averaging at least 10 points. As a team the Nuggets have the best field goal and three-point percentage while averaging over 117 points. They’ve also averaged 120.5 points in two wins over San Antonio this season.

Playing consecutive games against the same team during the regular season is never easy. That schedule setup is reserved for the postseason. And the second matchup between the Cavaliers and Heat has a little playoff feel to it with both clubs in the thick of the race. The Cavs made things interesting in the East with a win in Boston on Monday, their second straight after dropping four of their previous five games. And the Cavs have struggled on the road leading me to back Miami in its quest for a top six. The Heat have the most home wins of any team in the East not in the top six and also won in Cleveland earlier, something few teams have been able to do. I’ll back the Heat in this home game on my NBA parlay card.
