NBA Basketball Odds - Toronto Raptors at Philadelphia 76ers Game 6 Preview

NBA Basketball Odds

The Toronto Raptors have been dogged for years about their inability to win consistently in the postseason. The Raptors have done a good job of dispelling that notion in this year’s playoffs, as they sit just one victory away from the Eastern Conference Finals.

Toronto has won two straight to take a 3-2 lead in the second-round series against the Philadelphia 76ers and can advance with a win in Game 6. However, the Raptors are on the road in this one and Philly will be confident that it can defend the home court and force a deciding Game 7.

This series has been back and forth throughout and Toronto has been listed as the slight favorite to win on the road in this one in NBA betting lines.

This NBA basketball game between the Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers will be held at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, May 9th, 2019. The game will be nationally televised on ESPN.

We'll have NBA basketball odds at BookMaker.eu available for every game of the 2019 NBA season.

Odds Analysis

The Raptors have been listed as the 1-point favorite to pick up the Game 6 win. Toronto is the -115 favorite on the moneyline while Philadelphia comes in at -105. Toronto has covered the spread in each of the past two games of this series, including the upset win on the road in Game 4.

The scoring total is listed at 213 points. The “over” could be intriguing as this one could be higher-scoring than expected.

Last Time Out

The Raptors dominated from the get-go, taking a 64-43 lead into halftime and cruising to the 125-89 win. Kawhi Leonard continued his phenomenal series, finishing the contest with 21 points and 13 rebounds while Pascal Siakam had an impressive showing with 25 points. Six different players scored in double figures for Toronto.

Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid struggled once again for the 76ers. Simmons finished with only seven points and seven assists while Embiid had 13 points and six rebounds. If those two don’t step up, Philly will have a tough time claiming Game 6. However, the duo is talented and will have the home crowd behind it next time out.

Injury Report

Raptors standout forward Serge Ibaka was hit in the head by an elbow from Leonard early in Game 5 and was bloodied from the hit. He left the game for a brief time but got stitches for the wound and was able to return to the court.

While the injury did not look pretty, Ibaka made it back and did not seem to suffer any ill effects. He should be good to go for this crucial Game 6 matchup. Ibaka is a key piece of the puzzle, averaging 15.0 points and 8.1 rebounds per game on the season while playing his trademark tough defense.

Embiid was sick for Game 5 and the 76ers have to hope he will be 100 percent in this do-or-die Game 6.

Free NBA ATS Picks

The 76ers are only the slight underdog to extend this series, but the Raptors have found a nice groove. Philadelphia is still a year away from being truly competitive in the East. Look for Toronto to win Game 6 and move on to the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Raptors are the right choice on the moneyline, and the “over” should be under consideration in NBA wagering.

NBA ATS Pick: Toronto Raptors 114, Philadelphia 76ers 111
