NBA Basketball Odds - NBA Futures

The playoffs are finally here, as the Golden State Warriors prepare to defend their crown while the rest of the NBA contenders aim to give them a run for the trophy. It has been an interesting regular season, as the Warriors, Houston Rockets and Boston Celtics have all had their issues this year. However, Golden State is still the odds-on favorite while Houston is right there.

Boston would love to turn it on for the postseason but has some big-time competition, led by the Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors. The NBA futures have been updated and the odds are intriguing. See below to figure out where the contenders rank in NBA gambling.

We'll have NBA basketball odds at BookMaker.eu available for every game of the 2019 NBA postseason.

Odds Analysis

It is no surprise to see the Warriors atop the heap. Even though they didn’t finish the year with the best record in the league, they still have the most talented team, led by the starting quintet of Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and DeMarcus Cousins. Golden State’s odds of winning the NBA title are listed at -200, as the oddsmakers know a lot of money will be coming in on the Warriors.

The Bucks finished with the best record in the league and are the favorite to come out of the Eastern Conference. Giannis Antetokounmpo is an MVP candidate and he has a nice supporting cast around him. Milwaukee’s odds are listed at 7/1 to claim the title.

The Houston Rockets gave the Warriors a scare in last year’s playoffs and return James Harden, Chris Paul and Clint Capela. The Rockets really found a nice groove down the stretch of the regular season and seems like the team that could give Golden State a legitimate series in the West. The Warriors are listed at 8/1 odds to win the title.

Those are the big three, but there are other teams that are darkhorse contenders. The Toronto Raptors have taken another step forward with Kawhi Leonard leading the way this season. They are listed at 15/1 to win the championship. The Celtics have been up and down all year and will enter as the No. 4 seed in the East. Despite those struggles, Kryie Irving and Co. have a lot of talent and the team comes in at 18/1 odds to win the championship.

The other top team in the East is the Philadelphia 76ers. They have a star trio of Joel Embiid, Jimmy Butler and Ben Simmons leading the way and have odds of 25/1 to win the championship.
The Rockets and the Warriors are the clear favorites to come out of the Western Conference. The Nuggets have the next-best odds but that is all the way down at 50/1, while the Oklahoma City Thunder and Utah Jazz also have those odds.

The Bucks don’t have to deal with the Warriors until the NBA Finals if both make it. Milwaukee has a really strong group and would catch a huge break if someone is able to upset Golden State in the West.

The Bucks’ odds are intriguing because they have enough talent to make a deep run. Milwaukee is inexperienced but is the right pick to win the championship in NBA futures odds.

NBA ATS Pick: Milwaukee Bucks to win the championship at 7/1 odds
