NBA Basketball Odds - NBA Futures

The NBA regular season only has a handful of games remaining until all eyes turn toward the playoffs. The Golden State Warriors have not had as smooth of a ride as expected this season but that matters little once the postseason begins.

Golden State is still the prohibitive favorite to win it all and it would be a shocking turn of events if another team took it down. While the Warriors are the team to beat, there are some other contenders with intriguing odds when it comes to winning the title.

So what should it be, the favorite or an underdog to win it all? Check below for some NBA futures odds to help make that determination in NBA wagering.

We'll have NBA basketball odds at BookMaker.eu available for every game of the 2019 NBA season.

Odds Analysis

The Warriors are trying to hold off the Denver Nuggets for the top seed in the Western Conference and have the inside track at doing so. Either way, Golden State will be expected to advance out of the West and make it to the NBA Finals. The Warriors’ title odds are listed at -200, which is a little down from earlier in the year but still makes them the clear team to beat.

The Milwaukee Bucks have the best record in the NBA and are the favorites to make their way out of the Eastern Conference and into the Finals. If they can get there, Milwaukee would love it if another team did the heavy lifting and knocked off the Warriors. Even if not, the Bucks have the horses to make it a competitive series. Milwaukee’s odds are listed at +800 to win the NBA title.

The Houston Rockets have really caught fire in the second half of the season and have the core which gave the Warriors a great run for their money in last year’s postseason. James Harden, Chris Paul and crew have a ton of big game experience and are not intimidated by the Warriors. That’s why Houston has the third-best odds to win the title at +1000.

The Toronto Raptors have hit another level with the offseason addition of Kawhi Leonard and are right there as a true contender. Toronto has the second-best record in the NBA and could easily win the Eastern Conference with strong play in the postseason. The Raptors are listed at +1200 to win it all.

The two other teams with realistic title shots also come from the East, which isn’t a coincidence as they get to avoid the Warriors for as long as possible. The 76ers are young but have a ton of talent and are listed at +1800 to win the NBA title. The Boston Celtics have not played as well as hoped this year but the oddsmakers still believe they can turn it on at the right time, giving the Celtics +2000 championship odds.

The Nuggets come in at +3000, followed by the Oklahoma City Thunder and Utah Jazz at +5000 apiece.

The East is hard to figure, so it’s best to avoid all of those teams. While the Rockets are very good, they don’t seem to be playing at quite the same level as they were a year ago. There are a lot of rumors about Kevin Durant leaving Golden State after this season, which could be the first blow in dissolving the Warriors’ dynasty.

However, Golden State is completely stacked right now, and even at these odds, it is the right choice to win it all in NBA futures.
