The trilogy is one of the most popular things in boxing nowadays, and we will see Tyson Fury complete his second trilogy after proving he was a superior fighter against Deontay Wilder last year. Fury (32-0-1 with 23 knockouts) will take on Derek Chisora for the third time on the first weekend of December. Chisora (33-12 with 23 knockouts) is a heavy underdog by the boxing betting odds, but there have been plenty of big upsets over the last few years in boxing.

Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora Betting Odds

Tyson Fury -2050

Derek Chisora +1056

There’s no question that the unbeaten Tyson Fury should be favored ahead of his third fight with Derek Chisora. Fury has been nigh unstoppable during his career, so it’s no surprise to see him installed as an enormous favorite by the boxing betting odds. At this price, you would need to bet $2,050 on Fury to win $100. Meanwhile, a $100 bet on Chisora would return a hefty profit of $1,056 if he were to get the win.

As the fight nears, there will be decision betting too. You will be able to bet on whether the fight is decided by KO, TKO, or decision, and you can bet on which boxer will win the fight in that fashion as well.

Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora Preview

The first two showdowns between Tyson Fury and Derek Chisora resulted in easy wins for the unbeaten Fury. These two heavyweights first met in 2011 with the British and Commonwealth heavyweight titles on the line. Fury scored a unanimous decision victory in that bout, winning 117-112, 117-112, and 118-111 on the judges’ scorecards. The rematch between Fury and Chisora happened in 2014, and Fury ended up winning the European, WBO International, and British heavyweight belts. Chisora’s corner threw in the towel at the end of the 10th round, helping jumpstart Fury’s career.

Fury became a household name in boxing one year after his rematch with Chisora. That’s when he used his size and power to dominate undisputed heavyweight world champion Wladimir Klitschko in Germany. The Gypsy King won the IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO, and The Ring heavyweight belts with the victory. Unfortunately, personal problems kept him out of the ring for the next 33 months, but he has proved he is still the scariest heavyweight in the world since his return in June 2018.

The only truly elite fighter that Fury has faced though is Deontay Wilder. Fury and Wilder squared off three times, and Wilder was responsible for the lone blemish on Fury’s record with a split decision draw in December 2018. Lesser fighters have been no match for Fury including his last opponent, Dillian Whyte. Fury secured a sixth-round knockout of Whyte in April, and the outcome of the bout was never in doubt.

Chisora has lost three of his last four fights. He lost two decisions to Joseph Parker last year, and he was thoroughly dominated by Oleksandr Usyk two years ago. Chisora has never been able to get over the hump as a fighter, and this is likely his last major title shot since he will turn 39 in late December. He won a split decision over Kubrat Pulev back in July to set this bout up after Fury was unable to come to terms with Anthony Joshua.

Fury has to be the pick here. Although he is an enormous favorite, he has won the two previous fights with Chisora, and he has a massive advantage in terms of size and reach. Fury is seven inches taller then Chisora and has an 11-inch reach advantage, so it is going to be almost impossible for Chisora to get inside.
