Dillian Whyte vs Tyson Fury Betting Odds

Dillian Whyte +461

Tyson Fury -680

Total Rounds 9.5

To no one’s surprise, Tyson Fury is a significant favorite by the boxing betting odds. Fury has yet to lose a fight in his career, and his only blemish was a split decision draw against Deontay Wilder. If Whyte were to pull off the upset, it would be a significant payout at this price, and those that are somewhat new to betting on boxing might be tempted by those odds.

As the fight nears, there will be decision betting too. You will be able to bet on whether the fight is decided by KO, TKO, or decision, and you can bet on which boxer will win the fight in that fashion as well.

Dillian Whyte vs Tyson Fury Preview

Tyson Fury is the most intimidating boxer in the heavyweight division today. The Gypsy King has incredible dexterity and stamina for someone that is 6’9, and his 85-inch reach gives him a massive advantage over his opponents. Fury won the English heavyweight title early in his career, and he was 24-0 before facing unified heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko.

His win over Klitschko proved that he was the real deal. Fury used his size and reach to control the decade-long champion and established that he was the new king of the division.

He was a little unlucky in a split decision draw with Deontay wilder, but he had no trouble with Wilder in the rematch to win the WBC and The Ring heavyweight titles. That set up a trilogy fight with Wilder last October, and he again knocked out his opponent to prove that he was the superior fighter.

If Fury wins this fight, that will likely set up a showdown with either Oleksandr Usyk or Anthony Joshua. Fury has wanted to take on Joshua for some time, while Usyk will be at a disadvantage since he only recently moved up from light heavyweight.

This is the biggest fight to date for Dillian Whyte. He was 16-0 and unbeaten before taking on Anthony Joshua, but he lost in the seventh round to Joshua to drop his first fight. Whyte has won fights against Derek Chisora twice, Robert Helenius, Lucas Browne, and Joseph Parker, and he claimed the interim WBC heavyweight belt with a unanimous decision win over Oscar Rivas.

We saw Whyte beat Mariusz Wach by unanimous decision before he faced off with Alexander Povetkin. Whyte was upset by Povetkin, being knocked out in the fifth round to lose a title shot. However, he was able to secure a fourth round TKO win over Povetkin in the rematch on Gibraltar last March.

Whyte is going to have a hard time beating Fury on Saturday. Fury has a significant size advantage as Whyte is 6’4 with a 78-inch reach. It will be difficult for Whyte to get inside, and he will be punished.
