“The best way to say goodbye is by fighting here one last time and giving them a tremendous night of boxing full of rising young talent,” stated Garcia. “It’s gonna be the DSF show in Brooklyn once again on October 18.”

Garcia is coming off an RTD loss to Erislandy Lara on September 14, 2024, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
Since October 2012, Garcia has won seven of his nine fights at the Barclays Center. Initially, Garcia knocked out Erik Moarales to establish himself as a Brooklyn legend.
Garcia also defeated Zab Judah, Lamont Peterson, Paulie Malignaggi, and Robert Guerrero at the Barclays Center.
