Tennessee is a respected online betting brand with college hoops bettors. Coach Rick Barnes employs an emphasis on defense that annually keeps Tennessee in the SEC race. However, the Vols are not providing reliable betting value this season. And a recent loss to Mississippi State has gamblers wondering if this Tennessee edition can pull out of its problems. Alabama is in the black this season. Nate Oats is one of the top coaches in the game.

Alabama has covered four of its most recent five games. Five of their last eight games went over the total. Mark Sears leads the Crimson Tide with 20.3 points. Tennessee got the cash in only two of its previous eight games. The Vols went under just twice in their last ten outings. Dalton Knecht leads Tennessee with 17.2 points per game. Also, Jonas Aidoo adds 11.2 points and 7.4 rebounds per contest.

Alabama beat the College basketball lines in six of their last ten games with Tennessee. The Crimson Tide and Volunteers went under the total in 12 of their last 13 meetings. Specifically at Tennessee, Alabama came away with the money in nine of their last 11 visits. Alabama offers more value as the quality away team in this spot.

Baylor will draw plenty of sportsbook action as the established power brand. Casuals love Baylor for its consistent winning and the familiarity that comes with such success. Texas is not as big of a basketball brand but will draw its share of attention as a legitimate contender.

Baylor got the cash in four of its previous five games. The Bears went under the total in four of their most recent six games. Of great concern to gamblers were losses to Duke and Michigan State in December. Last month, those losses cast doubt on Baylor’s viability as a bona fide national contender. First among Baylor scorers is Ja’Kobe Walter at 15.3 points per game. Ray J Dennis adds 13.8 points and 6.3 assists per outing.

Texas has dropped seven of its previous ten games to the odds. Also, the Longhorns went over the total in four of their previous seven outings. Texas is coming off recent red flag losses at West Virginia and home to Texas Tech. Texas was expected to win those matchups with no problem. Max Abmas leads Texas with 18.0 points per game.

Baylor offers the most value as a formidable away team, especially with Texas in poor recent form.

Purdue has failed to get the money in four of its previous five games, and last week brought an alarming loss at Nebraska. Still, most gamblers and observers see the Boilermakers as Final Four material. Zach Edey leads Purdue with 22.3 points and 10.9 rebounds per contest. He is a top candidate for the National College Player of the Year Award, which he won in 2023.

Iowa got the cash in four of its previous six games. The Hawkeyes went over the total in eight of their most recent ten games. The combination of a prolific offense and no defense causes reliable over-the-total plays for gamblers. First among Iowa scorers is Ben Krikke with 16.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per contest. Payton Sandfort adds 14.5 points and 7.1 rebounds per contest.

Purdue covered seven of their last ten games against Iowa. Also, the Boilermakers covered three of their last four visits to Iowa. Following a bad week, Purdue is primed to get back on track. Iowa’s defense is a liability.
