Providence vs. Kansas Sweet Sixteen Betting

Providence Friars NCAA Basketball Betting

Providence Friars College Basketball Betting

The Providence Friars don’t get much attention or notoriety in the national college basketball conversation. At least not yet. Under 11th-year head coach Ed Cooley, the Friars have been one of the best wagering values on the board in college hoops. Wise Guys have come to love Providence for their profitable combination of being a good team that the masses ignore. Unlike power name-brand blue bloods like the Kansas Jayhawks, oddsmakers will give Providence more favorable lines. A team like Kansas will get a stampede of casual money based on their branding. Providence does not.

The Friars are not a flashy team comprised of future NBA one-and-done players. They don’t have a prolific offense. But they play well and hard as a team. Most important of all, from a gambling perspective, the Friars are getting the money.
