There are some minor rule changes for the 2024 MLB season. The pitch clock will go from 20 seconds to 18 seconds when runners are on base. Mound visits have been reduced from five to four and a pitcher who warms up at the start of an inning must face at least one batter.
MLB is in their third year of agreements with ESPN, Fox, TBS, Apple TV+, and MLB Network. FOX has Baseball Night in American and Fox Saturday Baseball and they will show the 2024 MLB All-Star Game. TBS will continue to broadcast Tuesday Night Baseball and ESPN will continue to broadcast Sunday Night Baseball. MLB Network will continue to show games on a regular basis and Apple TV+ has Friday Night Baseball. ESPN and ABC have all four of the Wild Card playoff series and then it is TBS, FOX and FS1 doing the rest of the MLB playoffs with FOX having the World Series in 2024.
