Jean Pascal is 36 years old and a native of Haiti that now resides in Laval, Quebec, Canada. Pascal is ranked ninth in the world and stands at five feet, ten- and one-half inches tall with a reach of 72 inches and fights from an orthodox stance.

Pascal is a past World Boxing Council, International Boxing Organization, and Ring Magazine lineal light heavyweight champion. He also challenged for the World Boxing Council super-middleweight title in 2008.

In his last bout Marcus Browne won the first major championship of his career. On January 19, 2019 Browne faced Badou Jack at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. At stake was the interim World Boxing Association world light heavyweight title. Browne scored a 12 round unanimous decision win to gain the title belt.

Prior to that on August 4, 2018 Browne went up against Lenin Castillo at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. Browne scored a 10-round unanimous decision win.

On January 20, 2018 Browne faced Francy Ntetu at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Browne scored a first-round technical knockout win.

Jean Pascal last stepped into the ring on November 24, 2018 when he faced Dmitry Bivol at the Mark G. Estess Arena, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Atlantic City, New Jersey. At stake was the World Boxing Association world light heavyweight title. Pascal lost a 12 round unanimous decision.

On July 20, 2018 Pascal faced Steve Bosse at Place Bell in Laval. Pascal won by technical knockout in the eighth round of a scheduled 12 round fight.

Prior to that on December 8, 2017 Pascal faced Ahmed Elbiali at the Hialeah Park Racing & Casino in Hialeah, Florida. Pascal scored a sixth-round technical knockout win.
