Tampa Bay – Oldsmar, Florida - Saturday

So far at Churchill Downs the great John R. Velazquez leads all jockeys with over $142,000 in earnings. He has posted three wins in nine starts. Jose L. Ortiz is right behind with over $112,000 in winnings. Also, Ortiz has 16 starts with two wins, two seconds and four thirds.

Santa Anita Park – Arcadia, California – Saturday and Sunday

Speaking of stakes races Santa Anita Park features two on its nine-race card for Saturday. The $100,000 Daytona Stakes is Saturday’s fifth race while the $200,000 Charles Whittingham Stakes is in the eighth race. Sunday will feature a total of 10 more races on the card.

Namely Flavien Prat, Abel Cedillo, and Joel Rosario have been the top Santa Anita jockeys. All three have compiled over $2.3 million in winnings. Prat has the most wins at 55 in 219 starts. Additionally, Prat and Rosario have the lead win percentages of 25%.

Gulfstream Park – Hallandale, Florida – Saturday and Sunday

Overall Gulfstream Park will feature 11 races on Saturday with 10 more on Sunday.

First place in the jockey standings at Gulfstream Park belongs to Luis Saez. He has a total of over $1.2 million in earnings. Saez has 233 starts with 49 wins, 38 seconds, and 32 thirds. His win percentage is 21% with a top three finish rate of 51%.

Remington Park – Oklahoma City – Saturday and Sunday

To be exact there will be 11 races on the Remington Park card for both Saturday and Sunday.
