Let’s now take a look at the highlights of this week’s schedule from tracks across North America!

Mahoning Valley – Monday and Tuesday

This Youngstown Ohio track was opened in 2014 and will feature eight Monday races with a $33,000 purse in the sixth. Eight more races will be set for Tuesday including four with purses of $20,000 or more.

Will Rogers Downs – Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday

Monday will feature nine races at this Claremore, Oklahoma based track including two that have purses over $20,000. Tuesday offers nine more races with two more that feature purses over $20,000. And another nine-race card is set for Wednesday with two more purses exceeding $20,000.

Fonner Park – Monday and Tuesday

Located in Grand Island, Nebraska, this track will offer nine races on Monday with nine more scheduled for Tuesday. The eighth race on Tuesday offers a purse of $20,000.

Tampa Bay Downs – Wednesday

Opened since 1926, Tampa Bay Downs will offer action on Wednesday with a total of eight races including a $40,000 purse on a maiden claim in the third.

Gulfstream Park – Wednesday and Thursday

Opened in 1939, the famed Frank Sinatra movie “Tony Rome” was shot at this very track in Hallandale Beach, Florida in 1968. Wednesday will feature a total of 10 races with three of them exceeding purses of $50,000. Thursday will feature 10 more races including one that features a purse of $52,000 in the ninth.

Fairgrounds – Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

New Orleans, Louisiana is the venue where races have been run at this very location since all the way back in 1838. Wednesday will feature a total of nine races with the final three having purses of $30,000 or larger. Nine more races are set for Thursday with three of them offering total purses of $30,000 or more. Friday is set with another nine-race card with three more races set for purses of $30,000 or more.

Remington Park – Thursday and Friday

Built by Edward J. DeBartolo Sr and opened in 1988 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma this track will offer 10 races on both Thursday and Friday.

Turfway Park – Thursday and Friday

Located in Florence, Kentucky since 1959, Turfway Park will offer eight races on Thursday including three races with purses at $45,000 or more. Then on Friday eight more races are on the board and two with purses exceeding $40,000.

Charles Town – Thursday

Founded in 1933 this track is located in Charles Town, West Virginia. Thursday will feature a total of eight races on the card with four of them offering purses of $20,000 or more.

Oaklawn – Thursday and Friday

This famed track from Hot Springs, Arkansas will be back in action on Thursday, March 26 with a total of nine races on the card. A $62,500 purse on the eighth race, an Allowance Optional Claim, highlights the Horse Racing Odds options. Friday will offer nine more races including a pair of $50,000 purses for the eighth and ninth.

Sunland - Friday

This El Paso, Texas based track has been open since 1959 and will offer a total of 10 races on the Friday schedule, including a $30,000 purse in the fourth race.
