2017 Presque Isle Downs Futures - Online Soccer Props

Presque Isle Downs is a 300-acre casino and thoroughbred horse racing track in Erie, Pennsylvania, in the northwest portion of the state. The facility is located 90 minutes from Cleveland, Ohio and Buffalo, New York. The track opened in 2007 and features a one-mile oval track. The distance from the last turn to the finish line is 1,062 feet. The 2015 live racing schedule runs from May 17th through October 1st with races running Sunday through Thursday, so there is plenty of action for the local bettors. The track also features simulcasting seven days a week in addition to its live horse racing, which gives the gamblers even more action. The simulcast betting allows patrons to bet on harness and thoroughbred races from the United States and Canada. Adjacent to the track, the casino offers 2,000 slot machines and 48 gaming table and an array of restaurants and bars. Not only is the horse racing a main draw but the other games add to the entertainment.

Some of the most notable races at the Pennsylvania track include the Masters Stakes, Presque Isle Mile and Tom Ridge Stakes. The Masters Stakes, which is scheduled for September 7th, consists of fillies and mares and is six-and-a-half furlongs long. This Grade II race features a $400,000 purse. The Presque Isle Mile boasts a $200,000 purse and is one-mile long. The race is for three-year-olds and up. The Tom Ride Stakes, in May, is a race for three-year-olds and is six furlongs long featuring a $100,000 purse. Other big races coming up on the 2015 schedule include the Fitz Dixon Jr. Memorial Stakes and the H.B.P.A. Stakes, both in November.
