2022 Presidents Cup Betting
The Presidents Cup normally takes place every other year, as the United States plays an International team minus Europe. The Presidents Cup had been held every other year since 1994 with the United States dominating the action, winning ten times, losing just once, with one tie. The schedule changed in 2020 because of the postponement of the Ryder Cup. The 2022 Presidents Cup takes place from September 22-25 at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. The top eight U.S. PGA Tour players who have the most FedEx Cup points qualify for the team along with four Captain’s selections, while the top eight International players from the Official World Golf Rankings qualify along with four Captain’s selections.
Catch all of the action at the Presidents Cup from Thursday, September 22 through Sunday, September 25.

The 2022 International team is going to be much weaker than normal. The PGA Tour has said that LIV players will not be eligible for the Presidents Cup. That means Cameron Smith and Joaquin Niemann will not be able to play. The International team could include Hideki Matsuyama, Sungjae Im, Joohyung Kim, Corey Conners and Adam Scott. The other players will be announced on September 6.
The 2022 United States team will include Scottie Scheffler, Patrick Cantlay, Xander Schauffele, Sam Burns, Justin Thomas and Tony Finau. The six captain’s picks will be announced on September 7.
The Presidents Cup is a match play event, which is similar in many respects to the Ryder Cup. There are 12 players per side and players compete in both alternate shot and best ball formats, also known as foursome and fourball. Each match is worth one point with a half point awarded for a tie. There are a total of 9 foursome doubles matches, 9 fourball doubles matches and 12 singles matches. A total of 30 points are up for grabs with the 15.5 points getting a team the win. The International Team in 2022 will be captained by Trevor Immelman, while the U.S. team will be captained by Davis Love III.
