2025 Truist Championship PGA Betting
The Truist Championship takes place in early May and normally it is held at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina but the 2025 tournament will be held on the Wissahickon Course at the Philadelphia Cricket Club in Flourtown, Pennsylvania. Rory McIlroy is a four-time winner of this event, as he won the title in 2010, 2015, 2021 and 2024 and he is the favorite to win this year’s event. A number of top players will be in the field for the 2025 event, as the tournament takes place a week before the PGA Championship, giving many of the world’s best players a good tune-up in advance of the year’s second major. The tournament had previously been known as the Wells Fargo Championship but Wells Fargo ended their sponsorship after 2024 and Truist, a bank in Charlotte, was announced as the new title sponsor. The tournament is normally held at Quail Hollow Golf Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, but because this year’s PGA Championship is at Quail Hollow, the 2025 Truist Championship will be held on the Wissahickon Course at the Philadelphia Cricket Club in Flourtown, Pennsylvania. The event will move back to Quail Hollow again beginning in 2026. The 2025 Truist Championship is a Signature Event so that means a field of between 70-80 players, no cut and a prize purse of $20 million dollars. All of the world’s top 10 players are in the field except World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler who won last week in Texas.
