Seattle Mist LinesFootball Betting Online: The city of Seattle has a burning desire to have professional sports teams, and all of the teams which call that city home end up having tremendous home field advantages and are often contenders. The Legends Football League isn't an exception to that rule. The Seattle Mist are the defending LFL champs heading into the 2016 season, and they'll be looking to repeat as Legends Cup winners.

The Mist play at the ShoWare Center in Kent, some 20 miles south of downtown Seattle. The venue isn't a particularly big one with a maximum capacity of 6,500, but the fact that it's so small provides the Mist with a legitimate home field advantage the likes of which few other teams enjoy in this league.

The Mist were inaugural members of the Lingerie Football League when league play began in the 2009-10 season. They went 3-1 in that initial year but were held out of the Lingerie Bowl in favor of the Dallas Desire and the Los Angeles Temptation. The ruling was particularly harsh considering the fact that Seattle beat Dallas in its final regular season game 28-12.

In 2010, the Mist were rather unlucky. They went 0-3 and had their last game of the season cancelled, but two of their losses were by just one score. They improved a bit the next season to 2-2, including a 42-8 romp of Green Bay which was the biggest win in franchise history at the time.

It was the next season in which the Mist really started to take off. They went a perfect 4-0 in the regular season and moved on to the Legends Cup, but they were upset by Chicago 31-14.

The Mist made the playoffs again in 2014 but felt short in the postseason before their 6-1-1 campaign in 2015 which included a bit of a revenge game against Chicago, a 27-21 victory at home to capture the Legends Cup.
