Football Betting Online: The Chicago Bliss are one of the three teams who have been around since the very beginning of the Legends Football League. They were actually established in 2004 and were amongst the teams in the test games of the then Lingerie Football League.
The Bliss played in the first ever game in LFL history at the Sears Centre, an arena which has become somewhat of a home for the ladies' indoor football league. They won that day 29-19 against the Miami Caliente. The Bliss actually won their first four games of the season, including a first round playoff game against Miami, only to ultimately lose the Lingerie Bowl to the Los Angeles Temptation 27-14.
The Temptation proved to be a problem for the Bliss again the next season. LA knocked Chicago out of the postseason for the second straight year by a 31-14 count.
The Bliss had their worst season in 2011-12, as they went just 1-3 and didn't get the chance to get into the playoffs.
In was the 2013 season which really turned things around for the Bliss once and for all. It's hard to make a dynasty in a league like this, but Chicago is well on its way to do so. The team was beaten in its first game of the year by none other than LA, but it went on a run from there, winning its last three games of the regular season. Finally, the Bliss had their way with the Temptation in the playoffs, beat them 19-12 to get into the conference title game. Chicago beat Seattle and Philadelphia to cap off its first ever title.
The Bliss went on to win the title in an undefeated 5-0-1 season in 2014. They finished off the 2015 season at a perfect 5-0 as well, shutting out the opposition three times in five games.
However, when push came to shove in the Legends Cup, the Bliss were beaten by Seattle, ending a 17-game streak without a loss.
Clearly though, Chicago is going to be one of the teams to beat in the 2016 LFL season and should be watched throughout.
