2024 Myrtle Beach Classic PGA Betting
A new event on the PGA Tour in 2024 will be the Myrtle Beach Classic, an alternate event for those players who do not make it into the Wells Fargo Championship. The tournament will still award 300 FedExCup points and have a prize purse of $4 million dollars. It will be the first PGA Tour event ever held in Myrtle Beach. The 2024 tournament will be held at The Dunes Golf & Beach Club and take place from May 9-12. Because the tournament is an alternate PGA Tour event, the field will not include any of the world’s top players.

The Myrtle Beach Classic takes place at The Dunes Golf and Beach Club which is located along the Atlantic Ocean coastline. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones and has hosted PGA Tour Champions events in addition to USGA, Collegiate, and men’s and women’s State amateur competitions. It is ranked among the Top 100 courses in the nation. Holes 11-13 are known as “Alligator Alley.” Hole #13 is nicknamed “Waterloo” and is considered one of the best golf holes in the world.
