Giles feels like a fighter who is ready to take a big step in his career. He's been tolling around in the lower levels of MMA, and an impressive showing in this fight as the main event might be just what he needs to get a call from UFC. He's a perfect 7-0 in his career, finishing every fight in either the first or second round, and he's really turning into a bit of a submission specialist. He's a technical fighter for sure, and Villanueva had better watch his back the entire night in the cage for this shifty fighter.
"Hurricane Ike," as he is known, has won his last four fights, including beating Brandon Farran by unanimous decision in a three-round bout at Legacy FC 55 back in May. Three round fights though, haven't gone well for Villanueva in the past, as he had been beaten in his previous three fights which went into the last round.
Langellier is another name to watch out for in the middleweight division. He's relatively inexperienced with just four fights, but he's basically the co-main event here at Legacy FC 56. He draws Ray Blodgett in this fight, a man who has 10 wins and is very experienced for this level.
McCullough will also put his undefeated mark on the line in a fight he should win against Mike Trinh.
Coulter and Pilarte will end up being one of the top fights on the undercard. These two heavyweights are real powerhouses, and there is a good chance we're going to see a tremendous slugfest in that one.
