The showcase match at Legacy FC 58 pits Robert Drysdale up against Ryan Spann for the vacant light heavyweight championship. Drysdale remains undefeated in his career in six professional bouts, but he's had problems with drugs in his career, failing two different tests. Considering the fact that he never evolved into a household name in UFC, Drysdale was released from the promotion, and that's why he finds himself here in Legacy FC with a chance to capture a championship for the first time in his career.
Another undefeated fighter, Oron Kahlon will be in action in the lightweight division. He should have a real edge here over Josh Quayhagen in a bout which could be a bit testy considering the disparity in experience between the two. The longer this fight goes on, the more you figure Quayhagen (8-5) will have a shot.
The most interesting match and the toughest to handicap will be the first of the main card bouts in the women's Strawweight division. Kenia Rosas and Makenzie Dern are both making their professional debuts at LFC 58, and both have merely been fighting in the amateur ranks up until this point. The winner is sure to immediately have a leg up in a new division in Legacy FC, and with the lack of quality female fighters in UFC in the Strawweight division, you never know if one of these two ladies will be the next big thing in the de facto major leagues.
