Trocoli has the slightly stronger record and should be favored in MMA odds.
Antonio Trocoli comes into this bout with a record of 9-1 and has defeated three opponents by knockout, four by submission and two by decision. Trocoli started his career at 9-0 before suffering the first loss of his career on February 5th, falling to Jacob Volkmann by decision at Legacy FC 51. Trocoli will be eager to get back in the winning column after the loss. His most recent victory was on December 5th when he defeated Wendell de Oliveira Marques by decision. The 25-year-old also had wins over Ronaldo Oliveira Silva and Wallace Cavalcante last year.
Dhiego Lima is 10-4 so far in his professional career with three knockouts. Lima has lost two in a row and has gone 3-1 in his last four fights so he too will be coming to Atlanta hoping to turn things around. In his most recent bout on May 16th, 2015 Lima fell to Jingliang Li in a first-round knockout. He also lost to Tim Means on February 28th, 2015, losing that one in the first round as well by technical knockouts. The 27-year-old captured his most recent win in November 2014, defeating Jorge Antonio Cezario de Oliveira by decision. Lima turned pro in 2010 and started his career at 6-0 before suffering his first loss in 2012. He will try and get back to his winning ways against Trocoli.
The welterweight bout between Cody Wilson and Dave Vitkay is another fight of interest at Legacy FC 53. Cody Wilson comes into this one with a record of 9-1 while Dave Vitkay is 16-12-1 in his professional career. Wilson is riding a 9-fight winning streak and will look to make it ten in a row against Vitkay. In his most recent bout on January 29th, the 28-year-old fell to Sergej Juskevic by submission in the second round. He also has recent wins over Brad Taylor and Elder Ramos. Wilson’s only loss of his career was to Joseph Corneroli in his debut fight in 2011. Vitkay is also coming into Atlanta with a winning streak, having won his last six bouts in a row. His most recent victory came last October when he defeated Wesley Barnes in the second round by technical knockout. Vitkay’s last loss was to Brett Chism in 2012.
Other bouts scheduled for Legacy 53 include C.J. Hamilton (5-4) vs Jacob Hebeisen (7-3) and Amir Dadovic (2-2) vs. Adam Dehart (5-5). In all there are seven fights on the docket in Atlanta in MMA odds.
