2026 The American Express Betting Online
The American Express, a tournament that many people still think of as the Bob Hope Classic, takes place in La Quinta, California in mid-January. Unlike many PGA Tour events, this tournament takes place over three courses, the Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course at PGA West, The Stadium Course at PGA West and La Quinta Country Club. The tournament got rid of the five-round format in 2012, so now it is the traditional 72-hole format. The 2026 event will take place from January 22-25 with Sepp Straka as the defending champion.
Catch all of the action at The American Express from Thursday, January 22 through Sunday, January 25.

This event has seen a lot of low scores through the years, but keep in mind that it was a five-round tournament for many of those years. The tournament switched to the traditional four-rounds in 2012 and the scores are more in line with what you normally see at other PGA Tour events.

This tournament was dominated by Arnold Palmer in the 1960’s and early 1970’s, as he won it five times. No one has come close to matching Arnie’s success, but six other players have won the event twice, including Jon Rahm who got his second win in 2023. Because not all of the top players in the world play in this event, it is unlikely Palmer’s record will ever be matched.

This tournament changed in 2012 to a traditional 72-hole event, so we’ll just list the record since 2012, which is Nick Dunlap’s 29-under in 2024. Dunlap played the event as an amateur which makes his record even more amazing. If you go back to the 90-hole event, the record would be -36, set by Joe Durant in 2001.

- The maximum payout for any Free Play is $5,000.

ROLLOVER
- Did you know that on all deposits made at BookMaker, there is a rollover requirement: an amount of betting action you must fulfill before you are eligible to make a withdrawal.
- Did you know that rollovers are calculated by multiplying the amount initially credited to your account a certain number of times? Yes! If you deposit without claiming any bonus, the rollover will always be 1x (one-time) your deposit amount. If you do claim a deposit bonus, the rollover will be higher and is based on the deposit plus bonus amount.
Wager disputes (claims)
If you disagree with any aspect of a wager you’ve placed, you are welcome to log an official dispute (commonly known as a “claim”). Claims must be reported no later than 15 (fifteen) calendar days following the settlement of the wager.
If following an initial review of the case there remains any doubt regarding the wager type, line, market, amount, or any other detail, the claim will be escalated to the BookMaker management team. All decisions made by them are final.
Wager Cash Out - How it works
With the Cash Out feature you can choose to eliminate a wager that's already been placed, and receive back either a portion, or your full stake amount.
Cash Out is selectively available on certain events, fixtures, and markets.
In order to see if a wager is eligible to be cashed out, simply navigate to your Bet Slip and check the 'My Open Bets' tab. If eligible, the Cash Out button will be displayed.
It’s also important to note that Cash Out is not contributing to any bonus or promotion including Bet Point accumulation and Rollover for releasing bonus cash.
