He has only lost once since 2008, falling to Vitor Belfort in a first-round knockout in March 2013. The 31-year-old turned pro in 2007 with his only other loss of his career coming that first year to Tony Rubalcava.
Another bout to watch at UFC 199 is the rematch between current bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber. Cruz comes into this one with a record of 21-1 with seven knockouts. He captured the UFC Bantamweight Championship on January 17th, defeating T.J. Dillashaw by split decision and will be making his first defense against Faber in this rematch. Cruz defeated Faber by unanimous decision the first time these two fighters faced off back in 2010. This is the second time Cruz has held the UFC bantamweight title in his career. He won it the belt for the first time in 2010 with a decision win over Scott Jorgensen and made three title defenses before he was forced to vacate it due to injury. Faber has a record of 3-8 in his career and also has seven knockouts. Faber defeated Frankie Saenz in a rematch by unanimous decision on December 12th after losing to Saenz by decision just seven months earlier. The 36-year-old will be hoping to have the same luck against Cruz in UFC odds.
