The center of the boxing world will be in England on October 10 for a card that has not one, not two, but three WBO title fights. Headlining the event is middleweight champion Andy Lee, who’ll defend his strap against Billy Joe Saunders. Lightweight champion Terry Flanagan will face off against Diego Magdaleno. Last but not least is a bout between Michael Soro and Liam Smith for the vacant junior middleweight strap. And guess what, you can bet on those fights right here.

WBO Middleweight Championship

Current Odds: Andy Lee - 125 vs. Billy Joe Saunders - 110

Our online boxing odds have this at close to a pick’em, and a few sportsbooks list them at dead even. It’s an intriguing matchup between Lee, a 2004 Irish Olympian and Saunders, a 2008 British Olympian. Saunders has the definite edge in power, but Lee is the more technical fighter. This fight was supposed to take place on September 19, but Lee suffered a virus that forced the fight to be postponed. Let’s hope the fight lives up to the hype.

WBO Lightweight Championship

Current Odds: Terry Flanagan - 110 vs. Diego Magdaleno - 110

Another close title fight? On the same card? This is totally unlike boxing! Flanagan is a compelling fighter simply because he’s huge for the the 135-pound division. Anybody who hulks over his opponents like that is going to draw some eyes. Magdaleno is severely lacking in the power department compared to the champ, but oddsmakers are obviously believing that his speed will make up for it.

Personally, I believe that Flanagan should be distinct favorite, so at -110 he’s a great value in my eyes. Magdaleno in no way should be considered the WBO No. 1 contender either.

WBO Junior Middleweight Championship

Current Odds: Michael Soro -NA vs. Liam Smith - 285

WBO No. 3 Michel Soro and IBF No. 3 Liam Smith face off of the vacant title that was stripped from Demetrius Andrade. Smith, 27 has largely built his impressive 20-0-1 record on obscure opponents. Soro, from France has only lost to former WBO champion Zaurbek Baysangurov back in 2012. Like Smith, he really hasn’t faced anyone else of note.

If Soro comes in as a huge underdog, he’d be a great bet. There are plenty of analysts who feel like he has superior hand speed, punching power, athleticism and experience compared to Smith. But it’s a dicey proposition, as neither guy has been tested against elite fighters.
