Manchester United has very loudly proclaimed itself as one of the favorites to win the Premier League this season after three matches in which it outscored the opposition by a combined score of 10-0. The tests haven't been huge thus far in the campaign, though, and traveling to Stoke City is never an easy task for anyone in the top flight.

Odds Analysis

Manchester United hasn't won a match at Bet365 Stadium since April 2013, yet it's a -200 favorite to take all three points this time around. It's anyone's guess whether the Red Devils are really title contenders at this point or not, but if they are, this is the type of match they should win more often than not.

The total of 2.5 tells the tale of a United team that hasn't surrendered a goal yet this term. Clearly, a 2-0 final is the best projected score line out there.

Key Injuries

There really aren't any huge injuries at this point for Jose Mourinho to worry about. "The Chosen One" doesn't have Luke Shaw or Ashley Young in the fold, but in the grand scheme of things, his Red Devils are relatively healthy.

The Potters can't say nearly the same. The international fixtures were awful to Stoke City. All three of Diouf, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Darren Fletcher were taken off with injuries from their respective sides, and we already know that Kurt Zouma and Julien Ngoy are going to be out for a little while, too. Clearly, this isn't the same Stoke City team that Manchester United was probably thinking it was going to face when it went on its international hiatus.

Recent Form

Stoke City has had a respectable start to the season. A 1-0 loss at Everton was relatively predictable, and the Potters really didn't play poorly and probably deserved better. They came back and knocked off Arsenal here at the Bet365 1-0 and followed that up with a respectable 1-1 draw at West Brom.

United had matching 4-0 wins over West Ham and Swansea City, and that was followed up by a 2-0 victory over Leicester City that really got the title talk buzzing around the grounds at Old Trafford.

Free Soccer Betting Pick

Let's not get overly excited about what Manchester United has done as of yet. The Red Devils are good for sure, but they won their first three matches last year, too, and they were never factors once Thanksgiving rolled around. They've played against three teams that are destined for nothing better than a mid-table finish, and Stoke City will be the next in that group as well.

Still, the Potters are at least firmly capable at home. We're really concerned about all of the injuries that were picked up during the international break, but with Saido Berahino and Xherdan Shaqiri both in really good form, we'd bet on Stoke being the first team to score against Manchester United this year.

Will it be enough to snare a point? We tend to think so. The safer play is going to be taking Stoke City at +1 on the Asian Handicap. It's a ridiculous spread to be laying with a United team that only won 18 games a year ago and doesn't seem much better served this year to grow on that by eight or nine victories.

English Premier League Odds: Stoke City 1, Manchester United 1
