Two more games. Manchester City only have to win two more games in order to win their second straight Premier League title and top Liverpool in one of the best championship races in Premier League history. The Citizens are 30-2-4 and have been on a blistering pace over the last three months. This is their toughest remaining test, as Leicester City have looked good against Big Six teams and knocked off Manchester City on Boxing Day.

Odds Analysis
Hopes of a quadruple have been dashed, but a domestic treble is very much in play for Manchester City. The Citizens haven’t lost a league match since losing to Newcastle United in late January, and they have left a bitter December in the rear view mirror. Manchester City hasn’t played a lot of high scoring games in league play in recent weeks. We have seen a lot of 1-0 or 2-0 games, and they had to dig deep to beat Burnley 1-0 last week. Teams have increasingly parked the bus against City, and the Clarets only managed two shots.
Leicester City are hoping to catch seventh place Wolverhampton in their last two games. That could potentially give the Foxes a spot in the Europa League if the cards break right. They are currently three points back, and they scored a big win last week in a 3-0 thrashing of Arsenal. It took some time for them to break through against 10-man Arsenal, but eventually Youri Tielemans notched a goal and Jamie Vardy added a brace late.
The Foxes stunned the Citizens in the first meeting between these two teams. Bernardo Silva opened the scoring, but Marc Albrighton leveled for the hosts after a lovely pass from Vardy, and Ricardo Pereira provided the game winner.
Key Injuries
Daniel Amartey has been ruled out for this match on the side of Leicester City, and he seems unlikely to play in the final game of the year next weekend.
As for Manchester City, the Citizens are not going to have Kevin De Bruyne and Fernandinho, and they have been without reserve goalkeeper Claudio Bravo for the entire year.
Player to Watch
Harry Maguire was absolutely splendid in defense in the last game between these two teams. Maguire is one of the top center backs in the Premier League, and he is high on the list of many rivals summer transfer targets. He is great when he makes the decision to go to ground, but most of the time he puts himself in very good positions where he doesn’t need to do that. Maguire can also go forward and score on set pieces when need be.
Prop Bet – Under 2.5 +246
I highlighted Manchester City’s tendency to play low scoring games earlier, and I’m going to double down on that with this bet. Five of their last six matches have seen two goals or less scored, so I’m going to roll the dice.

Last week, I said that Burnley were the last team with a real chance to stop Manchester City. I’m not so sure about that anymore. The Foxes have a real shot at playing spoiler, and that would lead to Liverpool fans singing songs in their memory. At the very least, I think they can cover a ridiculous spread as the Citizens won’t score enough.
English Premier League Odds: Manchester City 2, Leicester City 1
